Hotels Near Narakan Water Park in Hirosaki

The hotel is located at the northern foot of Mount Iwaki in Aomori Prefecture, with an excellent natural environment. The room overlooks the Sea of ​​Japan. Unfortunately, it was cloudy when I checked in, otherwise I believe I could see the sunset over the Sea of ​​Japan. The ski resort next to it has many snow trails, but there are mostly green trails for beginners, which is very suitable for most ski enthusiasts. Only the hotel's breakfast and dinner meals are of lower quality.

The most satisfying hotel during my trip to Northeast Japan!!! Comfortable, clean and good service! Pudding and water are provided in the room! There is free special apple juice and coffee on the first floor. A very detailed and practical introduction to the Nebuta Festival is posted, which is very helpful! There is free ramen at night. I was hungry and thirsty after watching the Nebuta Festival!! The public bath is also very enjoyable. There are apples in the outdoor pool and a sauna room to experience. There are free popsicles to eat after the bath. It is really enjoyable to sit in the rest room next to it, eat, drink and watch TV and comics together. It is the best night!! Extra breakfast is also very rich. There are all kinds of meals, and there is sashimi to eat. It is the best breakfast!!

Although the location of this Hotel is about 15 mins walk from the Hirosaki train station, the walk to the main sights, Hirosaki park & Castle, is only 8-10 mins. So, we did not mind walking to/fro the Hotel in good weather (October). However, I strongly suspect that there is a 100 yen Loop bus that goes from the train station to the Hotel (please check while at the train station). Upon check in, we were given our requested higher floor on the 9th floor (hope I remember correctly) and we could see Mount Iwaki from our room!!! Twin beds were big and comfy indeed, not stone hard at all! Room was good size, too. There was enough space even for an extra coffee table and two chairs, imagine, very good size in Japan. What is most outstanding feature of this hotel has to be the breakfasts, think egg station, smoked duck or salmon sashimi, curry rice with seafood (yummy!), porridge with salmon roe, western pastries, fruits, salads, etc etc. Every morning, we would eagerly look forward to a 'feast' here ...Not forgetting, we even got a cup of freshly squeezed apple juice one morning, unforgettable indeed. SO be sure to include breakfasts with your stay here, you would certainly not regret it. Diagonally opposite is a Nakasan Shopping mall, with mid range Outlet shopping on the 4th and 5th floor (sorry, no European brands here). You could get quality clothings at 20-50% discount, really good value! However, no Tax free for items bought at this Outlet. At the basement is the Supermarket and a small food court with only 3 stalls (the Ramen stall on your right while standing facing the stalls is doing a roaring business). All in all, our 3 nights stay in Hotel was truly enjoyable and unforgettable. Will be checking out other Smile Hotels when we travel in other parts of Japan.

We stayed for 2 nights from April 19 just before the Sakura Festival. 15400 yen. Take the Dote Cho circulation bus of 100 yen from Hirosaki station, get off at the blue silver Dote Cho branch, and it is very convenient in front of you. It is an old but large hotel with a single facility and a wedding hall. However, the bathtub is super narrow, and if you don't sit in the gym, you have to put it in, and if you try to catch it to your shoulder, you have to enter the sea cucumber. It is a washlet but it is a cold toilet seat. ＷＩＦＩ was difficult to connect and troubled by time. There is one electric stand on the desk, but it is dark because there is no light on the ceiling, and I borrowed one more.

I used a super hotel to see the Hirosaki Sakura Festival. During the Sakura Festival season, we were able to stay at a relatively reasonable price while all the hotels in the surrounding area were raising prices. It is a so-called business, but there is a large communal bath. (Although it is small). The rooms are not large, but WiFi is also complete and I wasn't so dissatisfied. There is also a free breakfast buffet. (The menu is small) Free drink service from the evening is good. No way even alcohol. Super hotel is also used, but I think it is stable with only chains.

The hotel is in front of Hirosaki Station. Iwakiyama was visible from the window and the view was very good. But when I put hot water on the bus, my body hair and my lower hair floated, and I was disappointed with this. When I dropped the lee key and accidentally looked under the bed, it was full of dust. There is also dirt on the curtains, so I would like you to be careful about cleaning the room a little. The taste of the buffet was normal, but the restaurant felt a bit small. The attitude of the front desk staff was good, so I feel very disappointed.

I stayed without breakfast and booked in a single room. At check-in, I received a breakfast ticket for some reason, and the room was guided to the 10th floor and was surprised (＊ ㅂ` ＊) ♡ It was a comfortable single room! The scenery was beautiful and the best because it was on the Iwakiyama side! The parking lot is crowded, and the parking lot near the entrance is taken by the other person immediately after leaving, but there is also a three-dimensional parking lot, and it is safe because it can park a lot. I want to use it again next time (^-^)

We stayed for one night for a relative's visit. There was no discomfort even on a single woman trip, the room, bed, bathroom, everything was relaxing, clean and tidy. The restaurant at dinner was a bit cold, but the quality and quantity of the dishes, the courtesy of the employees, all were good. It is about 15 minutes walk from goshogawara station, and the road is easy to understand. This time, the hotel sunroute near the station was full, so it was a second choice but I was satisfied.

The hotel is some distance away from Hirosaki Station. The taxi to Hirosaki Station is about 3000 yen. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Hirosaki Station at a fixed time. The hotel is Japanese style, but it feels that the heating is not enough. Features, there is an apple tree outside the hotel, and two apples will be served in the refrigerator in the room. The taste is good, sweet and free of scum. There are not many varieties of breakfast but the taste is OK. The waiters are very enthusiastic!

Simple, no frills, comfortable ryokan set in a very secluded beautiful narrow wooded valley with a rushing stream outside the windows. Be aware: the smell of paraffin from the lamps is unmistakable, pervasive, catches in your throat, and your clothes will smell of it after you have left. Having got that out of the way, everything else is makes it a really special experience. There is no wifi, phone signal, no television, so you can slow down, relax and appreciate the onsen and the nature surrounding you. The meals were healthy and delicious, featuring fresh foraged ingredients. You will not go hungry. We requested vegetarian meals a few days in advance. Eating the meal in the tatami dining room in the lamplight and watching the light fading outside was beautiful. You will make up your own futons and there are shared toilet and tooth cleaning facilities. Everything is spotlessly clean. There are several baths: two with a view of a delicate waterfall, which are not very hot, so good for summer, a mixed sex rotemburo with times for women only, an ofuro in the main building, and 2 cypress baths in a cypress building with a view of the river, and the water is gloriously hot. Plus an outdoor footbath. All are lit with atmospheric lanterns. There is a car park a short walk up the hill from the ryokan. The old wooden main building is full of character and decorated with items of local folk art. There are some small areas of garden planted with native plants near the entrance, but the rest of the surroundings are just the area's flora and fauna.
