Hotels Near Yamatoya Ebisucho Honten in Hiroshima

I am a resident in Hiroshima. I returned from abroad in the evening and noticed that there was no home key and searched quickly. I searched under the condition of ”no smoking, breakfast, high evaluation, cheap”. Oriental Hotel Hiroshima was a good condition that it was cheap at this price and there was a discount on coupons. The private car woke up at the workplace and went to the hotel on foot (the hotel parking lot was 1500 yen). It is a high-rise hotel in Hiroshima but a bit plain. If Liga, ANA, Prince and Sheraton are the leaders of Hiroshima, it is a hotel that will come next. When I requested a ”good view room” at the front desk, I upgraded the 16F room in the W corner room with the view bus at a little extra charge. It will be a sharp decrease in guests due to corona virus vortex. This is an old hotel in Hiroshima. It is not known how much the customer is small and the food is important, and it is saved, but it should have been replenished more properly around 8:30. Breakfast is important. This is very bad, bad, and if it is usually such a ”hospitality”, it is embarrassing as a hotel in Hiroshima, a tourist city. I thought it was okay because Hilton Hotel can be done from now on opposite the Peace Boulevard. I thought if I continued to operate in the future, I would like to make efforts and additional investment to overtake other slightly luxurious hotels.

Very easy and convenient to book on Trip.com. Hotel location is very convenient as it is less than 19 minutes walk from the Hiroshima Station. Room was clean and cosy. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for the main sights of Hiroshima - we walked to them all from the hotel but if you want to get the loop bus, there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel. Room was well sized and very clean and comfortable although probably a little dated. The view was our room was very special though! A final bonus, a free happy hour for guests on the top floor! Staff were all really friendly :) I would stay here again.

If you stay at a business hotel with three families, there are many places to add extra beds to the twin room, but this hotel has an adjacent twin room and a double room in the room connectivity There was a connecting room connected by the gingdoor, so it was very comfortable to stay with family 3 people. The bathroom used a large twin room and the toilet used both. Breakfast buffet was not luxurious, but it was a good content for the price. The hotel parking lot is on the 4th floor ～ 8th floor of EKI City Hiroshima opposite the hotel. Going to 1F by B elevator from the parking lot and going out in front of the hotel. Parking fee is 1,200 yen per night and will be paid at the hotel front desk at check-in. It is not a luxurious hotel, but it is located in a good location to access the station, there is also a parking lot, and the accommodation fee and breakfast fee were cheap, and it was able to stay in a clean and relaxing room. I thought it was a very good hotel considering the cost performance.

It is a modern hotel with a rebranded feeling. The interior is also renovated beautifully, but I was also worried that it was sacrificed by several concept priorities. The front desk is on the top floor, but there are few elevators, so people who go to the front desk and people who go to the room are always waiting. There is no front desk staff in the midnight zone, and when I checked out at AM5 to catch an early morning flight, there is no key recovery box that I heard that it was installed in 1F, and it is wasted to the front desk on the top floor and back in the back I was excused by the sleeping staff who would have been sleeping, and I couldn't feel it from the morning. 1F is a fashionable Italian restaurant, and there are many uses other than hotel users, but there is no accommodation privilege, and there are a large number of insects in the plant near the open table outside.

Room was small but enough for a solo traveller like me. To my surprise, there was even a microwave in the room. Everything was neat and tidy, and the staff at the front desk was nice and helpful. On the top floor, there was a public hot spring bath, but I did not use it. Outside the hot spring bath, there were drinking water fountains and vending machines, one of which dedicated to selling milk and dairy products. You could enjoy the Japanese culture of drinking milk - correct me if I am wrong (at least this was what I learnt from Japanese animes and dramas) - after taking the hot spring. Overall the experience was great.

From the north exit of Hiroshima station, you go down the stairs in front of you on the way and go to the sidewalk on the ground, and when you go over, you go to the other side of Futaba Dori street. The bedlinen is super soft to sleep on. Nice river views too right in front of my room. Love the location too. Very close to all the attraction I needed to go. We love this hotel very much. Thumb up for this hotel.

Check-In/Out was easy:) Staff was awesome overall:) Check- In young woman spoke good English, Check-Out gentleman spoke none:( Comfortable Queen bed for wife and myself, yet, one side pushed against wall. Pillows were FLAT and terrible, maybe some of the worse I’ve come across in my travels😳 Plenty of hot shower water, yet bathroom is real small! Room is also small, but welcome to Japan😉 Breakfast was quite the spread, but Japanese style items, not much to for our likings. It was close to Peace Park😀 It was a one night stop and traveling out of a backpack, it worked!

Good points: 1. Location is amazing since it’s right on the island and everything is within walking distance. 2. We had breakfast and supper included in the stay. Food was varied and plentiful for most palates. Plenty of fruit and veg too. 3. Staff for 98% of the time was great. Language barriers are expected. Google translate is a perfect alternative to the translation issue. The front desk staff were awesome and was extremely helpful. 4. Room is spacious for a traditional Japanese hotel. We had our own onsen which was delightful. The beds were mostly comfortable and we had two full mattresses pushed together creating a massive king! 5. Once you enter the hotel you must take off your shoes and the hotel provides house slippers which generally fit most people. The lobby has shoe cubbies for your shoes. They do not lock, but Japan has very little petty theft so you don’t need to fret over potential thievery. Negative points: 1. This is of no fault of the hotel, rather it’s a Google maps problem. Be aware Google maps will basically have you climb the mountain and drag your suitcase through a dirt path. Instead put in the Miyajima post office and with the water to your right, turn up to the small road with the post office to your back. Keep going straight for about 2.5 city blocks and you’ll walk right into the hotel. Much easier than the 40 minute hike we took. 2. Restaurant staff on the whole were great. Only issue was this morning when we went to breakfast this morning and tried to sit in our usual table, the staff tried to sit us with some other people. I asked if we could sit at a different table and the individual said no and walked away. We didn’t know these people they tried to sit us with. However, they were tourists like us. I was frustrated because the staff member just walked away from us when I was still speaking to him. Very rude! 3. The toilet room smelled really bad. It was a combination of mold and chemicals.
