There is a park directly opposite the hotel, and a bar street behind it. Most of the people around are backpackers (Europeans and Americans). The hotel's infrastructure is old. There are many travel agencies around where you can sign up for individual groups, which is suitable for backpackers.

a thumb up for Mr Toby at the reception, he never fail to help whenever we approach him, beside he speak good English and make communication easy. Thumb down for housekeep, shower amenities was never refilled. Stay there for 4 night, every night we need to ask from reception for shampoo and bath gel. Location are good, walking distance to Ben Thanh market and other place or interest. Overall not so bad.

Clean, simple and great location. Staff is super friendly and helpful with transportation and other needs. Great jumping off point for trips all over Vietnam if you start in HCMC.

It's close to Pratunam Mall. You can take a tuk-tuk to Tamnam on the sidewalk.
I don't know if it's a new hotel or a remodeled hotel, but the rooms are perfectly clean. In particular, the bedding and mattresses are really good.
