The house is several decades old. The room is very small. The facilities are old. The toiletries are comparable to those of domestic three-star hotels. It's polite. For the same price, choose a newer hotel.

Last day in HoChiMinh, we choose the Sofitel to compare with Majestic hotel. At arrival they immediately ask if we want a camp-bed for oir 8years old daughter. The staff always in forefront of our needs. The room was spacious... More than the Majestics. The pool was awesome. They offer us some treats (chocolat truffles) at arrival. Small downside.... Our TV remote controler was not working properly. The coffee in the room is really not high standard as we can expect from Sofitel. The food court for breakfest compare to Majestic is not as good as. However, the same night was 400rmb cheaper which is totally worth the money spend. PLUS for them ... I love the idea they were using glass bottles to reuse them

Being an avid traveller and enjoys staying in various 5 star hotels across the world, Sofitel Saigon plaza hotel has not let us down. Special shout-out to front office supervisor Vy Thuc (Abbie) for our check-in process smooth and makes us feel warmly welcomed when we just reached the hotel.
Room was clean and decently sized. The king size bed was so comfortable that feels like home. Breakfast selection was great with nice modern vibe.
Overall our hotel stay was nothing short of magnificent but what makes Sofitel Saigon special is their hospitality and impeccable service. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again for our next Vietnam trip! :)

The room is too old, and the bathroom shower is in the bathtub with the same shower curtain, which is very inconvenient. The king-size bed is actually two single beds put together. There is only one bedside table and there is no charging socket. Charging can only be done at the writing desk. Spending 1,300 yuan to live in a room like this is really not cost-effective. The breakfast was pretty good, with more Western food choices, but the Chinese dumplings and buns were not delicious. The sound of motorcycles outside seemed very loud on the first night, but I got used to it later. The air conditioner cannot adjust the temperature. I turn it on to cool or turn off the heat. The most important thing is that the air conditioner is very noisy. Even if it is turned on to the lowest setting, it still whirrs at night.

The service is really excellent, much better than domestic ones! English communication is barrier-free! Those who have lived in Beijing feel average. The quality of the service staff is obviously much higher. No matter where I meet the hotel staff, they are super nice, awesome, and awesome! From concierge to pool to everywhere! The room is a bit small, but it is enough. Extra bed service has been prepared early. I still think the services in big cities in Ho Chi Minh City are OK! I will choose this hotel next time
