Palace Hotel Saigon

I booked this hotel for a one-night stay because of its convenient location. However, they damaged my Muji checked luggage and then refused any compensation. When I checked in and checked out, and even when I stored my bag, the handle was perfectly fine. But a few hours later, when they brought me my luggage, I first noticed the name tag was broken. The bellhop pushed it to the door without using the handle, and then I realized it was because the handle itself had been cut by a sharp object. The doorman and security were both present and aware, and the doorman even said 'Sorry,' clearly knowing how it got broken. But my ride was already there, and I had a flight to catch, so I didn't have time to argue with them. After returning, Trip.com was very responsible in mediating the issue, but the hotel refused any apology or compensation. I noticed at breakfast that this hotel rarely has international guests, which probably explains why they don't care about reviews on overseas platforms.

The location is super convenient, right by the city center square. Most major tourist spots are within a 15-minute walk. Starting around 4 PM, there's a lively night market atmosphere. The staff were also incredibly patient and attentive!
