We were let down with another booking at the last minute and had to book the California Hotel as an emergency…we are very happy we did!
Initially we were in a central room without a window and communicated that it was a little claustrophobic for us. The staff arranged for an immediate upgrade the following night. We were put on the top floor with a magical view of the Reunification Palace. It was perfect.
The staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is so amazing for the city’s tourist attractions and market.
The breakfast was very nice with fresh fruits, soups, eggs / omelettes and the usual cereals and meats. Coffee was also good.
Will absolutely be coming back

Regarding this hotel, I have to be fair and say that Trip.com should really consider its customers more. The price for this hotel is absolutely not worth it. Honestly, besides the security guards in the lobby, I couldn't find a single positive aspect. Especially the front desk and breakfast service staff, they made us feel like we were an annoyance. On top of that, the hotel facilities are incredibly poor; the rooms are too old and rundown, and you constantly see mosquitoes and ants crawling around. I would never, ever stay at this hotel again.

A little bit of an older hotel but is well maintained. The rooms are large, comfortable beds, outstanding service staff with a great breakfast buffet. If staying in Saigon this hotel is situated by many attractions within walking distance.

The staff was really impressive, I wasn’t very mobile when I stayed due to a shoulder injury. They took extra care of me and help me when I needed it most.

Overall everything with the service was great but the advertising for pool was not met with the expectation of the pictures. The charge for the sauna was unreasonable expensive if you had a pool should be included. Maybe need to update more of the rooms.

Excellent location, walking distance to Ben Thanh market and night market. Room was pleasantly quiet despite the busy location. Included breakfast was good. Would recommend for families.
