Hotels near Saigon Pavillon in Ho Chi Minh City

My wife and I booked a Superior double room incl bfast here for 6 nights in February. We requested a transfer (for approx £12) by emailing the hotel and were met at Tan Son Nhat International airport as arranged. This proved to be a good move as the hotel was further from the airport that we had expected and the traffic was awful. Check-in was quick and easy and we were given a room at the back of the hotel on a higher (10th) floor as requested. Our room was quiet and spacious with a large comfortable bed. There was a wardrobe (but no drawers), a fridge (no free drinking water!), kettle (cups, but no supplies), TV (some English channels), table and 2 chairs and complimentary flip-flops. There was no room safe but valuables could be kept at reception free of charge. The aircon, hairdryer and Wifi worked well. The bathroom had a shower/bath combo with good pressure and plenty of hot water. 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, a bathmat, 2 small soaps, 2 sachets shampoo, 2 toothbrushes and a comb were provided. The cleaner came daily but did not clean the floors or bath and on one occasion left no towels or toiletries. However these were quickly obtained from reception. The breakfast area was on the ground floor. The breakfast buffet selection was small but adequate. You were offered a choice of eggs (fried, scrambled, omelette) cooked to order. The buffet itself consisted of 3 hot asian dishes, bread/toast, cakes (2 types), fresh fruit (usually watermelon), juice, (not replaced once finished), tea and coffee. Milk was kept behind the counter and you had to ask for it every time you wanted a splash in your tea or coffee. There were 2 convenience stores close by (the Vinmart minimart across the street was cheaper than the CircleK) and there was a large Co-op supermarket at the end of the street (about 10 mins walk away). My wife and I thought this hotel was very good value for money. It was in an excellent location and staff were friendly and helpful. We had an enjoyable stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel or staying here again if we are in the area. This review is based solely on my experience and I hope you have found it helpful.

Highly recommend for anyone in need of a hotel that is convenient location-wise and most importantly, clean. The hotel is on Truong Dinh Street which is just approximately 1-1.5km from the central entertainment/ eating venues or shopping malls of HCMC. The rooms are small, but comfy small, with pleasant decor and design. The thing I love most was the hygiene quality, everything was kept clean and dustless during my stay, especially the restroom. I love the service here too. The receptionist is really sweet and gentle, and the doorkeeper was very helpful when I was trying to catch a quick drive to the airport. Will continue to stay here if I come to HCMC again!

But everything else was ok. I was very pessimistic given the bad reviews that I have read. But I was VERY surprised. The receptionist did speak English and helped with my luggage. The room was as pictured. There was even hot water. There was no drinking water provided though but it wasn't a dealbreaker.

I booked a room to stay late at night, the hotline number could not be contacted (willing to only work within certain hours but in some cases no one supports) The machine to check in on instructions does not work, Nor was guided or assistance from the night shift staff. The security guard who registered his room after a while of the procedure and was able to go to the room. In general, the service is poor, in return the room is quite good. The view is beautiful and airy, some small errors such as peeling wallpaper can be ignored

Was recommended Intercon and it did not disappoint. Enjoyable stay for a girls' weekend and birthday trip. The hotel's location is the best- right across the Book Street, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office and a short walk to a street full of lovely cafes and restaurants and a slightly longer walk to the City Hall and Opera House. We were given a room on the 15th floor with a great view. Beds were very comfortable. Service was friendly and prompt. We will return!

Felix Hotel is a wonderful hotel with lots of features. The main thing was its staffs. The front office guy, actually I forgot to ask his name, he was so friendly with wholehearted smile, he keep doing services in the night time also. I needed an extra blanket in night, and he helped me without wasting any time. The another feature was its location. Its so close to the Bui Vien Walking Street and Ben Tanh Market is just 500 metres from this hotel. Lots of food joints like KFC, Highlands Coffee etc are surrounded by this hotel. The rooms are so neat and clean, the bedding was perfect, situated in the heart of the city, but sound proofing was excellent. The washrooms are hygienic and clean. A perfect Hotel!! Felix Hotel offers bike rentals in an affordable price, and helps us with some tourist informations. Overall, I got 5/5 experience from this hotel. And Highly recommended!!

I actually stayed here over 2 years ago and completely forgot to write a review. I absolutely loved it here and the staff were amazing, friendly and super helpful. You walk into clean and air conditioned reception that also has a computer, a lift up to the rooms (I would recommend paying extra for private as they’re nicer) and some rooms don’t have windows so I’d highly recommend one as it gets quite stuffy without one and the view is better. There’s a rooftop bar which makes it awesome including the view but would be icing on the cake if it had a pool. The activities are so fun at the hostel and the tours are even better outside which you must do! The food is great and is central to many things including the nightlife. Be VERY aware of theft in the city as I had my phone stolen on a night out but honestly other than that would highly recommend !

Probably the worst three star hotel we have ever stayed in. We booked for 3 nights after arriving in Saigon from Vung Tau, and were not well pleased at the condition of the room. The only saving grace was a comfortable bed and cool A/C. We booked a room without window and we got a room with half a window, literally one half of the window was missing, so it was partially blanked! The TV screen was damaged, toilet window was old and seized half open, OMG what a dump!!

The location is ideal, the waiters are friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is good, the food is delicious, the old appearance of the dream here is also deeply attracted to me, I have to enjoy it every day, I have lived there for five days and I can't tire of it. You must try it, this is really a good hotel, especially this hotel is still government-run.
