Beautiful hotel with plush furnishings. Hotel rooms were super nice and very comfortable beds. Location couldn't be better - it was walking distance to everything we wanted to do or a short ride over for anything further out. Food at the restaurant was great too. Honestly wish we could have stayed longer. The best part of our stay were the staff. They were the nicest, most hospitable and friendly people that went above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we were having a great time. We regretted not hugging every single person that went out of their way to look after us (it was all of them). We'll be back!

Pros: -Central location: right above Takashiyama mall, very convenient to explore famous sights in Saigon, walking distance in evening to Quảng Trường Nguyễn Huệ. Takashiyama malls has plenty of food, coffee and shopping options -Service: hotel staff friendly and welcoming, helped us with check-out / luggage; staff helped us arrange spa services not far from hotel -Check-in: quick check-in service despite arriving late in the day -Room: comfortable bed, good amount of space for work in the room (one long desk plus a breakout area with two high chairs) -Complimentary drinks in the room (soft drinks, water, beer) -Staff went above and beyond to arrange a spare room one of the evenings to take a call -Swimming pool with a nice view; wasn’t too busy Cons: -priced quite close to larger 5* hotels however felt like overall service and facilities more akin to a smaller boutique hotel (eg no one greeting you outside of hotel when just check in, not clear if hotel has a spa) -Room design: high floor however design of room made it feel quite dark vs a panoramic view

this hotel is great location and service. everything is in walking distance. when i arrived the manager (hieu)had my room and tours all ready for me.the staff are friendly and manager hieu has gone way obove expectations to make me happy. everything from a room upgrade to sugesting differant places i should see. . any small issues i had mr hieu had corrected within minutes . so good job hieu and staff you have anouther happy customer ps breakfast is great asswell and great service

Very clean modern hotel in an excellent position in District 1. The furniture bathroom all very modern and clean. Had an excellent breakfast. The staff were very helpful The location of the hotel in District 1 couldn't have been better. We had a very mixed experience at A & Em Art Hotel with my family. While the hotel itself is clean, rooms nice and big (we had deluxe), and location superb, the hotel has also its' disadvantages - the staff being the biggest of them. During our three night stay we met with several staff members and almost all of them seemed to be very indifferent if not straight up rude toward us. Not all, but most of them. We had one male receptionist and a bell boy who were very friendly and attentive. Another complaint goes to breakfast. How can it be possible that when a place serves breakfast until 10am they are run out of food at 9am!? We didn't get any pho soup and even the coffee had ran out. And the staff did absolutely nothing but said that that's how it is. A big group that had come in is not an explanation, they should know about their guests. Another explanation was guests from the hotel across the street. That doesn't fly either since it's part of the same group (A & Em Corner Hotel). I usually don't care that much about hotel breakfast but this time we were travelling with my wife and our 1y11m daughter and having no breakfast really made our life more difficult. Pros - clean hotel - nice and clean rooms with complimentary water bottles for each day - excellent location Cons - breakfast, should probably go at 6am to receive any - staff and their attitude (excluding one bell boy, one receptionist, and the cleaners)

Unfortunately I read the reviews on Booking.com and didn’t check my trusted trip advisor like I usually do, We have been traveling since the beginning of January through, Thailand, Cambodia and now Vietnam and it’s not our first trip to these countries, it is however the first time styles, standards and service have been extremely disappointing. We arrived at this hotel around 15:55 with a check in time of 14:00. I had already informed them of our time of arrival and they had replied confirming it. On arrival Reception staff stated room wasn’t ready because of late checkout, I asked them for another room to which they completely ignored me so I asked for the manager. I told her I wasn’t happy paying for someone else’s late checkout and to arrange another room regardless of whether it was an upgrade of just a basic room as I had looked on booking.com and there were plenty of room, she said we will clean it as quickly as we can, 30 minutes later and 3 cleaning staff seen leaving the room it was ready. Totally unacceptable. Positives- Excellent cleaning staff and porters. Comfortable bed Television with English channels Good quiet air-con Safety deposit box a good size and actually screwed down which is quite a novelty in Asia. Very well located for the main sites in Saigon. Negatives- Rude an inexperienced management and reception staff. Steep steps leading in to the hotel One lift for the whole 12 floors which was full on numerous occasions, if that goes out of service it’s a long walk down. Room very tired especially in the bathroom. It actually felt like you were sleeping in an office with the style of the wardrobes. Very inventive photos, the pool is nothing more than a plunge pool with 4 sun loungers but in online publicity photos it looks massive. The sky bar happy hour was far from it, buy 2 get 1 free, we only paid for 4 half pints at a cost of £15.60 and the 2 free after a barrel change were undrinkable (I even changed the barrel for the 2 guys working as they didn’t know how to). No table service until you went up to the bar and ordered your drinks. Breakfast was cold and tasteless, you had to ask the staff for tea/coffee, at no time were we offered these or any form of eggs, the whole area was nothing more than a shambles run by very inexperienced staff. I must say they tried their best and the lack of service and standards is completely down to bad management. I didn’t use any of the other services they offered so I can’t comment on those. Being retired Publicans and restaurant owners we go through the hotel channel first to try and rectify any bad feedback and when it falls on deaf ears then to comment on here is truly justifiable.

We stayed here 2N at the start & 2N at the end of our 12D tour. Each time the hotel bellhop was ready to assist us. Cannot say the same for the Reception staff. The 2nd time we were even given a room that we could not even lock and after waiting for some time and still not allocated a new room, we insisted that we be given one asap and they had no choice but to upgrade us. No tourist information was also given and when we asked for a map, they flipped through files and then said that there was none left. Surely, they could photocopy one from their file. We then asked directions to the river and all they told us was that it was too far to walk. We told them we had looked it up before we came to Vietnam and it was within walking distance. It is less than 2km away. The good points of the hotel is that it is very conveniently located opposite Ben Thanh Market and within walking distance to the river, Saigon Opera House and the Saigon Centre/Takashimaya where there were plenty of food choices. The buffet breakfast is also good enough with both Western (scrambled eggs/sausages/ham/salad/plain pastries) and Asian (congee/soup/rice with veg/fish/meat), a fruit juice/tea/coffee/fruits/yoghurt. Just be warned that the hotel's entry is via a flight of stairs. Hence, not suitable for those requiring wheelchair access or the very elderly.

I book family room, two big queen bed size during my husband birthday. Staff are all very nice and polite. Forever help you carry your luggage or open the hotel entrance door for you. Never go to rooftop as my room already has big bathub. Channel TV only 3 in English and the rest is in Vietnam. Desk a little bit of ants but every i ask the housekeeping staff clean it up. Decent 3 star hotel. Value for the money. 5 minutes walk to Ben Thant Market. 7minutes walk to Malaysia Street.

This hotel is ok. It is below three star. I would rather be I a basic hostel that is clean than a hotel with my own room, if the room needs a check on cleanliness. There were bugs. The shower curtain has mildew. I did not want to touch it. I chose to seep in my silk sleeping bag (liner) instead of using the bedding. Since the hotels are not full, it is better to ask to see the room before putting your money down. Of course this hotel is affordable, however there are nicer hotels that are cost more and the cost less. they put in these spa like bth tubs. the would be nice if the shower curtain was clean or of caulk attached the spa tub to the wall. If the water goes behind the tub, I just wonder. How do they clean it? Is there mold? I gave the hotel more than one dot because the people there are so nice. There are other hotels within walking distance to Ben Tahh Market. The stairs and the lobby were not kept. There was a mattress o the stairway that made egoism up and down an eye sore. There are tables in the lobby. It looks like meals would be served but I saw no one eating there. I am not sure if this is because of COVID. There is no view, unless you have a deluxe room. Make a request to see the front - this view is urban, so it is just fun to look out but nothing special. Still looking out and seeing a bit of the wy of life in urban Saigon is cool.

The location was fantastic, a few minutes walk to the Ben Thanh market and Saigon square market. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by as well. Museums also within walking distance. Staff here were super friendly and we actually extended our stay here by three more days, great value for money as well. We didn't have breakfast included in our stay so not sure about how good their breakfast is! Room was cleaned daily, all amenities replaced regularly too which was great. Decent water pressure which is something hard to come by we've found! Air con was fantastic, kept us nice and cool and was very welcomed after a day in the heat. They included an adapter for english plugs and also a hairdryer in the room and also hotel slippers which were great. Quiet room as well considering how busy the streets are. The bad - The bed was super creaky, the slightest movement was so loud and woke either me or my partner up depending on who moved so be wary of that. Also slightly annoying you can't open the windows and to smoke you have to go to the entrance of the hotel. Their card machine was also faulty and we ended up having to pay cash, they also do not accept American Express even though on the booking.com information it says they do.

Chose this hotel as it is not far from the sights and a 10 minute walk to the market. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only complaints I had was that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, which meant that bathing had to be done by squatting or sitting in the bath. The basin was solid but the stand was wobbly, like it has come off the wall. Lastly, I'd like to warm readers about the spa downstairs called New york nails and spa. DO NOT GO THERE! I was violated by the beautician who did not give me what I had asked for, overcharged me and begged me to give her a tip. She used a translator on her phone to tell me that she made no money by working at the salon due to the coronavirus outbreak and kept rubbing my back at the same time. She sat beside me and kept coming closer and closer, begging for a tip, all the while running her hand up and down my back. Her command of English was poor, and kept saying ”my baby, no money mistress”. I was appalled and disgusted at the conduct of this beautician and have been left traumatised by the experience. I will never go to a salon again except at home in the UK. Ladies and gents, be wary of this place and dont go in!!!!!

So i was booked from trip app for 1 night at saigon hanoi hotel. I paid for more than $40 dollars but the room I booked its not same like on picture and the staff told me when i was check in! I'm so upset because im was paid more money but the room up to 9 floor and the elevator was not go through. I have to walked 1 more floors to get to my room!!!! I need some discount from this book because its not worth it

Room hygiene can only be considered as normal. For example, there is a tea in the teapot that has not been cleaned by the previous guest. However, it is not necessary to bring toiletries. The cotton fabric is clean and the room has a new decoration. , but the location is very quiet, it is more convenient to go anywhere, two bedrooms and one big bed 1.6 meters, one is a double bed 1.2 meters * 2, the bed is very comfortable, there is an elevator, check in after 14 pm, the service is good The consumption of drinks and water in the room is not high. There are two convenience stores downstairs. The overall feeling is very good.
