Lys Homestay

This homestay is a hotel with a high cp value. I highly recommend it to friends who want to stay here.

We spent three nights at this hotel, and highly recommend it, it is ideally located in the center of Tam Coc. It is a family that runs this establishment of around ten rooms with a swimming pool in the center and all the services necessary for traveling in the city and the surrounding area. Including scooter rental, bike rental, and lots of information to manage visits to the surrounding area... The dock for the departure of the boat trip through the rice fields is a 2-minute walk from the hotel, you will find everything just a few steps away (cafe, restaurant, spa, etc.) The room is very comfortable, bright, clean, and a good breakfast is served in the morning. It's a family structure, we were welcomed by the owner who speaks French very well when we checked in. Having seen many positive reviews, particularly on Le Routard, we recommend this establishment and would be ready to return there as well. We just want to add a little nuance, because contrary to the opinions which were intended to be extremely friendly, we still found the welcome a little cold, the owner seemed to want to put us in another room than the one we had reserved, not very smiling at the start, we were able to chat afterwards and were still entitled to a kiss when we left. But it is true that our first impression was not necessarily what we expected... despite everything as explained above, we recommend it 100% and will return without hesitation.
