The room was clean and tidy. The hotel is in a great location with a fantastic view. There's a small park in front of the hotel with a stunning night view. Dining options are also very convenient. I especially want to mention the service, especially the front desk staff!

The cleanliness is average. There is a layer of dust on the bedside table. The shower does not work well. The water column is scattered and weak. I reported it to the hotel and they sent a maintenance worker to dismantle the shower to clean it and then reinstall it, but it didn't work. I asked to change the room and they said that changing the room is an upgrade and the price difference needs to be added.

After living in Hoboken for many years, my fiancée and I stayed at the W before our recent move to Colorado. I was so blown away by the experience. We were upgraded to a beautifully renovated suite on the river. Upon learning why we were there, the front desk sent up a bottle of Prosecco and very nice note congratulating us on our move. Can’t recommend highly enough!

A decent hotel but with some notable quirks that impact the guest experience. The Positive Points 1. Renovated rooms 2. Nice lobby and lobby bar 3. Good bartender 4. Nice doormen 5. Comfortable beds 6. Nice views 7. Reasonably quiet 8. Walkability into town 9. Lost and found recovered an item my spouse dropped. Bravo! The Quirks and Cons 1. Curtains let in sunlight. They are useless. See image. 2. Service at breakfast is scattered and flaky. As an example, I made 3 requests from 3 staff to get ketchup. It took 7 minutes and my food was cold when I got the ketchup. 3. The receptionist who checked me in was cold and indifferent. No recognition of my Ambassador status and then a surly question of points or breakfast. 4. Housekeeping would not have serviced our room had we not asked them in the hallway. They needed supervisor approval to wit. 5. The living room part of our suite was dark in the evening in that there was very little lighting. Overall, this is a decent hotel, but it does have some shortcomings.

I had such an amazing stay at W Hoboken! I was there celebrating a friend’s birthday, and Angelica truly went above and beyond to make the experience feel special and memorable. Her kindness and attention to detail made a huge difference, and it didn’t go unnoticed. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very trendy. The views of the Manhattan skyline are absolutely stunning, especially at night. The bartenders downstairs were fantastic and made great drinks, which added to the overall vibe of the stay. The location is also perfect, easy to walk around, explore Hoboken, and enjoy everything the area has to offer. I had such a great experience that I’m already planning to come back for my own birthday. Highly recommend!
