The room is great, with wifi and air conditioning. Saw lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants and more on safari. In particular, there was a very young man who dropped his phone when we were on our safari. He kept it for us and gave it to me. I am really grateful to him, a very honest African man. But I don’t know his name, he is the young man who has been helping us with our luggage. Thank you again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our safari at Naledi was truly unforgettable. Vuyani, our guide, was an excellent driver and incredibly knowledgeable — no matter what question came up, he had the answer, and his passion for the wildlife made every game drive special. Sydwell, our tracker, was exceptional. His sharp eyes helped us spot two leopards (the hardest of the Big 5 to find!), and his great sense of humor kept us smiling along the way. Their excitement during sightings was contagious and made us appreciate every moment even more. The lodge felt like a sanctuary — our room was a perfect blend of rustic and modern, like a treehouse in the middle of the reserve. The indoor and outdoor showers and the infinity pool overlooking the reserve were highlights. The team went above and beyond for our honeymoon, even surprising us with a “Happy Honeymoon” message on our bed made of sticks and flowers. The food was excellent, creative, and beautifully presented. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and the staff was incredibly attentive — checking with me daily about the menus and always offering substitutions if needed. We felt completely safe and cared for. Highly recommend — Naledi exceeded all expectations!

I don’t even know where to begin- we had the most amazing 4 nights at Naledi. Let me start from the inquiry- Kjell and Shedrick had the most sincere and kind email manners. I felt welcomed instantly (actually increased a night here and decreased another lodge because they made me feel more welcome from the email replies alone). The moment we entered the glorious gates, we felt like treasured guests. TK and Petronella wasted no time making us fall in love and excited about our stay, just from kindness alone. My daughter was asked what she likes to eat- the 6 year old was in heaven upon check in too (she doesn’t like vegetables, and TK duly noted haha). I might end up with too many words but let me try to shorten it with saying: Amazing food and each meal is presented by the chef. Amazing housekeeping- Ronisi is my son’s favorite South African. Please tell her sorry for his fingerprints on her clean windows. Amazing trackers- Sidwell our driver is forever in our hearts. He really knows how to find the animals! We will never forget the funny things be did to make our game drives memorable. we saw the Big 5 and got to enjoy them (not rushed or just glimpses). Amazing management- TK was so sincere and always there to anticipate our needs. Special mention: I was breathless when the entire staff sang me happy 40th birthday. I know I said AMAZING too many times but there is no other words, except maybe magnificent. Every step of the way just awesome. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back!

Naledi Lodge is a treat! My husband, 13-year-old daughter, and I stayed for three nights (in Leadwood) and everything was exceptional. Everyone was extremely attentive, accommodating and thoughtful, the food wonderful and the game drives spinetingling and spellbinding! Our tracker and our guide were phenomenal and really went the extra mile to give us the best possible experiences. Thank you to all of the fabulous team at Naledi, we loved our stay in every possible way.

From the attention to detail and personal touches for each of our party to the unbelievable game drives. Our driver Vuyani and Tracker Jimmy delivered every animal we requested and went beyond any experience we have had before. The reception staff seemed to know who each of us were without having actually met any of us right off the bat. The rooms were luxurious with amazing views of the bush. The guided walks were fun and informative about all the small things you just don't notice on drives. The food was great and there wasn't a moment that we were hungry. Can't wait to visit again

If we could give 6 stars for our 3 day stay at Naledi we would! My wife and I visited Naledi for 3 days in January 2025. We were incredibly well taken care of by Marise, Matthew, Lilian, Decide and Chef Dudu throughout our stay. The food was delicious, our room in the Paperbark suite and the entire property is meticulously maintained, and they made incredible efforts to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. They succeeded! The game drives with Oupa and Excellent exceeded every expectation. They are true experts at guiding and tracking the majestic animals in the Balule reserve, and just incredibly lovely gentlemen to spend time with. We saw so much - yes, the Big 5, but also warthogs and hyenas and giraffes and hippos and zebras and impala herds and beautiful birds; sunset and sunrise and a rainbow one morning took our breath away. On our final sundowners, Oupa and Excellent took us by the Olifant River where we enjoyed the sunset and drinks surrounded by hippos and a grazing rhino. Each day felt like a treasure hunt - we gave very little input, allowing Oupa and Excellent to do their thing, and loved every minute. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my wife and I, as we were visiting South Africa from the US for a friend's wedding. I went back and forth between the more well-known reserves (Sabi Sands, Timbavati) and was unsure what we'd be able to see in the summer season (our visit was in late January) - I'm so glad we chose Naledi and if there's ever an opportunity to visit South Africa again, we will be back!

The lodge is nice enough for the value of what you are paying, but at the end of the day what takes the cake is the staff and the quality of the game drives. This is our second time returning to Naledi, and I would return again just for the staff. They have wonderful people working there that make your experience so much more enjoyable. The trackers and guides are also really amazing, funny, and talented. We saw the Big 5 and had amazing game drives with them. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a more affordable experience compared to fancy lodges, it's a really nice place. Thank you Naledi!
