This stay was the best I've ever experienced, the staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. The whole environment was immaculate and the views were amazing. Highly recommend to anyone planning to visit Neuschwanstein Castle and/or the surrounding Schwangua area.

Verblijf in een fantastische villa op een sprookjesachtige omgeving! Het chalet heeft werkelijk alles, mooie grote keuken, grote badkamers en zeer schoon!! Zeer vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk ontbijt! De ligging is fantastisch, een mooi uitzicht op slot Neuschwanstein! Kortom, een aanrader!!

We rented the Chalet and some rooms at Villa Ludwig for a family reunion in the summer of 2023. The facilities are clean and the staff were super attentive to our needs. There can be a lot tourist activity in the area given the prominence of Schloss Neuschwanstein. Although Villa Ludwig is located within a few hundred meters of the main parking areas and only a short walk up to the castle, we felt completely isolated from all the action and were able to completely relax and enjoy our summer vacation. There are plenty of activities in walking distance and more than enough to do within a short driving distance to easily fill more than a week of vacation time. There is nothing better than having a cold Hefeweizen on your 'own' patio with majestic view of the Schloss Neuschwanstein. I highly recommend Villa Ludwig and we are planning definitely to come back here.

I celebrated my birthday here and that was the best decision, was not sure if the room will really look like the way it was online, yes the room was exactly like how it was online and we had castle view from the balcony. Last but not least, friendly staff

Villa Ludwig was an amazing place to stay. Clean, spacious, warm and inviting with a VERY helpful staff. A five minute walk away from the other hotels and touristy areas made for a quiet stay with great views of Neuschwanstein but still so close to everything. We will absolutely come back here.

We stayed here only 1 night. Everything was perfect. Location was very close to both famous castles within walking distance. The room was large and nice with big and comfy bed and the bathroom was quite big also. The staff was very nice friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite excellent and tasty. Great place to stay.

Wir hatten die Romantik-Suite "Lohengrin" Anfang Januar 2024 für 3 Nächte gebucht. Der Aufenthalt war für uns Erholung pur und wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Gegessen haben wir im Partner-Hotel Alpenstuben. Dort wurden wir auch von der Inhaberin, Frau Schönauer-Wacker, angesprochen, ob wir uns wohl fühlen und alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit ist, was wir nur bejahen konnten. Einziges Manko war, dass wir um eine Nacht verlängern wollten und das Hotel komplett belegt war. Daraufhin hat sich Frau Schönauer-Wacker innerhalb einer halben Stunde darum gekümmert, dass wir um eine Nacht verlängern können und auch noch in unserer Suite bleiben konnten. Wir fanden es sehr erstaunlich, dass an einem Ort, wo es von Touristen nur so wimmelt, Gäste mit einer solchen persönlichen Note behandelt werden und haben uns darüber unheimlich gefreut. Im Suite Hotel selbst wurden wir bestens betreut und auch im Restaurant Alpenkönig waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten uns auf einen schönen Aufenthalt in Hohenschwangau gefreut und unsere Erwartungen wurden durch die positiven Eindrücke noch übertroffen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und können das Hotel und Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen.
