Ahoy Hoi An Boutique Resort & Spa Reviews

I recently stayed at Ahoy Hoi An Hotel, and despite experiencing Typhoon Trami during our visit, the staff made our stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. Thomas, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and well-informed, keeping us updated on weather conditions and checking in regularly. Huyn, the service lady, was equally wonderful, always greeting us warmly and offering excellent recommendations for nearby dining and activities to enjoy when the storm passed. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well-prepared for the challenging weather. Thanks to Thomas and Huyn, our two nights here felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hoi An!

Beautiful new hotel with very friendly attentive staff. Rooms fitted out very nicely with lovely bath. I loved the pool, very clean and pretty gardens. I like walking so for me it was a nice walk to old town and beach and easy straight down main road. Cheap if you want to use grab. It was great also to be able to use the bike to explore. I had a small operation while here and the staff were extremely helpful and attended to my needs. There is only one part of the new hotel open so it was beautiful and quite which was great for me this time. I’m guessing it will get a bit more busy in the future. The room is clean, but it is dark overall and not very comfortable. The bathtub is also dark and the toilet is close, so it is difficult to relax. There is a window in the hallway, but the position of my room is just right where the balcony and the inside of the room can be seen from the window in the hallway, so I can see the faces of passersby and cannot relax. Also, the Wi-Fi is a little weak. The breakfast is average or below average in taste. It is not very tasty. I went around 8 o'clock, but many dishes were still gone and they were not keeping up with replenishing them. The staff's overall attitude and attitude are not very good. They are sloppy and brusque. After checking out, I was able to borrow a bicycle and went to the beach, but the nearby beach was murky. Overall, it was not very comfortable and I would not recommend it.

It is a new hotel, very clean and cozy. There are also two swimming pools, both of which are wide and deep enough to enjoy swimming. The bedding is not humid, and it's nice to have a terrace. The downside is that there are not many types of breakfast, but the menu is good enough to eat, and the restaurant's air conditioner is not available. Trees, flowers, koi, landscaping and interior are not spacious, but they are literally stylish and beautiful. It may be an ambiguous location between Anbang Beach and the Old Town, or on the contrary, you may think that it is convenient to get around as both are not far away. It's quiet, you can hear birdsong and there aren't many people, so you can rent a pool and use it, and that's an advantage.

To start with what an amazing hotel with amazing people, everyone there are so happy and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. Thomas was great with communication and booking our stay. He always smiles and is so welcoming! Then we were collected from the airport and driven around for tours etc by Ken. He was a very safe driver and always happy, plays good music too. Will is great if you need to book a tour guide. Naomi is such a happy, caring person. Always helped us out with booking tours, massages, laundry etc, she’s amazing - we love her. Overall we had a great time and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel it’s a 5* from us!

We travelled as a couple to ahoy hoian, we had a wonderful stay here. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Wendy was so lovely and greeted us every morning and evening. She gave us lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area. Her customer service skills are 10/10 - thank you! The housekeeping staff do a fabulous job, everywhere is so clean from guest areas to rooms. We have never seen such a clean pool! This is a new hotel which has been finished to a very high standard. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a pool side view with an outdoor shower - If you can, book room 105! It’s beautiful. The breakfast is the morning is a buffet style and has a lovely selection of local cuisine and continental. We stayed for 3 nights and it felt like home for our time there. Out of all of our accommodation Ahoy was by far our favourite. A very special thank you to 3 of the most delightful, happy and kind staff Wendy, Naomi and Victorya you made our stay fabulous, thank you for sharing stories, helping to organise our days and trying to help Gavin with his very bad Vietnamese 😂 Ken our driver, thank you for the country music and excellent efforts in communicating with us. Our room was perfect, spacious and very clean, the tranquil grounds of the resort was just what we needed. We will definitely be back one day! We highly recommend Ahoy Hoian Boutique & Spa to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.
