The room is really clean. It was newly renovated during our 2025 stay. with all the fire station items, it really make our stay interesting. One of a kind indeed.

Beautifully appointed rooms spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location. The shared laundry is also excellent and has everything you need. Very comfortable bed fantastic shower and such a central location. Exceeded all expectations.

OK, it is quite nicely done & quirky but there are some huge buts.. it's not a hotel - there are no staff on site. That's OK though but the real issue is the statement in the description "sound proofed rooms".. they are absolutely, categorically NOT. There is ZERO sound insulation between the rooms. Prior comments in the guest book in our room were a testiment to the same. We heard everything from our 'neighbours' - everything from the bathroom - EVERYTHING! And the whole of a 15 minute conversation just before midnight - which woke us up - its like it was happening in our room. The truth and scale of this issue needs to be made very clear to anyone considering staying here. I very much doubt the owners have experienced it, they're too busy congratulating themselves for a job well done - but they most certainly should hear it for themselves. Not recommended - unless you're as deaf as a post - or sleep like the dead! Sorry - but this is the truth of the matter.
