Our room had an awful smell. Thankfully the window opened because I gagged when we walked in. The carpet in the hallway and on the stairway desperately needed a vacuum. When we checked in the man at the counter wasn’t welcoming at all. He told us due to his computer having issues he didn’t have a king room for us so he put us in a queen. Okay, whatever. But I didn’t appreciate still being charged for a king room. If anything I should have received an additional discount for the inconvenience. Thankfully the bed was clean and comfortable and the man at the desk when we checked out was much friendlier. I’d stay again if I had to but I wish I would have just spent the extra $50 for a better experience.
