The Sunset Apartments

Our expectations of this location were not fully fulfilled. We stayed in apartment 5 and 7 which are both at the front of the building. On the street side, so no view of the meadows and no balcony. The bed was fine, very firm but that is understandable in an apartment. The shower drain was clogged on our arrival, we found that out the next morning as we were standing in 3cm of water. This was eventually resolved nicely. The contact with the hotel (which these apartments are owned by) was fine, friendly staff. The apartment looks nice, hip in terms of decor. There were only 2 large plates in the cupboard, something extra would be useful. On our last night we got upstairs neighbors and noticed how noisy this room is, as we could literally follow the conversation. Then we knew why there were earplugs on our bedside table ... The toilet was absolutely not clean and our toilet seat was broken, so you actually sat next to the seat. You had to close the plug in the sink at night because otherwise you would wake up from the bubbling. The fan in the bathroom that turns on automatically when you switch on the light continued to roar quite loudly for an hour, so no lights in the bathroom before going to sleep, difficult ... And then the sliding door slid out of its bearings. No, we definitely expected more and better quality for this price.

We spent four nights in one of the Sunset apartments on the ground floor. It is a spacious, modernly furnished, clean apartment, with a good bed and fully equipped. Beautiful unobstructed view over the meadows. Excellent, friendly service from the hotel. There are several shops and excellent restaurants in the vicinity of the apartment. You are also 1 km from the beach and the lighthouse.
