Charming 2Bed Ami Beach Cottage 1/2 of a Duplex, 3Min Walk to Beach

The location was fantastic. However, everything seemed moderately broken - one of the bed frames, the handles to the cabinets, the beach umbrellas- all in disrepair. It was nice to have a small kitchen, but it was NOT user friendly. There is an induction stove top (pain!) and the space is just very cramped for actual cooking. Additionally, there was not outdoor hose or shower, just a low spigot. This made it really difficult to get all the sand off from the beach. This cottage looks pretty but is not very functional- especially for a family.

The property was cute and looked like the photos. The main issue was the shower clogged every day and we had to plunge it to get it to go down. We showered in ankle-deep water due to the slow drain/clogging. In the second bedroom, the bed was uncomfortable and the frame seemed to possibly be broken as the frame rocked back and forth when you turn over. The closet door in that room fell out of the track and we could not get it to go back in. The stove and oven were confusing to use and we had to look up YouTube videos to get them to work. We weren't always successful. Location was great. Beach was beautiful. The chairs provided helped, but they're not comfortable to sit in all day. The cooler provided had a rusted handle, so it wouldn't come up to be usable for the beach. We called the host, who did provide a replacement the next day.

Laundry worked super. Home clean and cool. Everything you needed was there.

Great Experience Our stay in Holmes Beach was fantastic!The home was everything we had hoped for and just feet away from the beautiful beach. We will definitely return again!

Great Location My son and father had a great stay here. The only real down side is that there are no dresser in either bedroom. You are able to hang your items up but no where to put anything else. A dresser or closet organizer would be a great addition. They really enjoyed sitting out on the back patio, it is fully shaded and quiet. The location of the house is great- short walk to the beach and a great central location to everything else. They enjoyed their stay and would be happy to go back.
