We had such a lovely stay. We were in the Emley Moor room. All the rooms are named after the local scenic areas. The room was really clean and well equipped and a very comfortable sleep. The staff were lovely - very attentive and entertaining - shout out to Michael who was brilliant. We had a two course meal which was great quality and very tasty and competitively priced. The house stout was also great quality. It's only a ten minute drive from the main town of Holmfirth which is also well worth a visit - very picturesque part of the UK and lots of little boutique shops.

Beautiful hotel in stunning scenery. Very clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Small hotel, so lovely and peaceful. Located just on the outskirts of Holmfirth, so conveniently placed for sightseeing around West Yorkshire. Would definitely recommend a stay at this great hotel.

My wife and I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at The Huntsman for such a wonderful and stress free wedding. If you're looking for somewhere to host your special day, then look no further than this place. From day one on our initial booking we were looked after by Katie, who made our day so very very special. I cannot recommend The Huntsman enough. The food was brilliant, the house dj brilliant. The overall organisation and professional manner in which they made our day so memorable was simply outstanding. Even the rainy weather couldn't spoil our day. Thanks once again Katie and your crew, we'll be back again shortly to see you all again. So many memories made........

What can I say amazing from start to finish! The welcome from Katie at the front desk was lovely, explaining everything, room was clean warm beautiful views for miles. Bed soft comfortable. The staff were fantastic couldn’t do enough for everybody so professional. Katie was on hand all day right through to the night smiling all the way through it all Such a lovely lady! They are lucky to have you Katie! Thank you for everyone for making the wedding go so smoothly I know I speak for all it was just amazing. Can’t wait to visit again for the bar food as we were treated to the best breakfast we’ve had for a long long time! Definitely 10 out of 10 Thank you from Vanessa & Anthony xx

As always the Wine, Dine and Duvet night was fantastic. Lovely room, delicious food and fantastic staff. Highly recommend, treat yourself to a relaxing evening with a delicious breakfast. Can’t beat it

Booked as intermediate stopover in travel plans. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lovely place and amazing views. Stayed with 5 year old and 4 month old, cot provided and all had hassle free trip. Can’t fault anything
