This was a fairly standard Hampton Inn, providing what you would expect. The location is near restaurants, shopping, a park, and a metra stop - easy to navigate if you have a car; an affordable option to staying in downtown Chicago. Our only quibbles were 1. although the room seemed pretty clean, the floor was not well vacuumed: there were crumbs, lint, a random pill, and piece of broken glass here and there; 2. the hot water was very warm but not as hot as I prefer; I suggest turning it up a degree or two. Staff members were very welcoming, attentive and friendly.
