GGuest UserIf you’re staying in Hohhot and want a genuine, memorable experience, this is the place!!!
I can’t recommend this homestay enough. From the moment we stepped into the compound, the warmth of the family was immediately felt. You’ll be welcomed by a lovely lady, her husband, and his brother, who treat you less like a guest and more like family.
Within minutes of arriving, they greeted us with snacks, a gift, and let us know they were already preparing a local dinner. We sat down with them that evening, sharing a spread of local dishes and drinks, it was a genuinely special night. I don’t speak a word of Chinese, and yet through Translate we had a wonderful time together. Before heading to bed, they asked what time we needed to leave in the morning so breakfast would be ready for us which was very nice!
Morning came with their dogs greeting us and a delicious homemade local breakfast waiting at the table.
As for the yurt itself, it’s beautiful and incredibly cozy inside, exactly what you’d hope for. There’s heating in there in case you get cold as well.
We stayed two nights, and on our second evening we had to turn in early for an early flight. The other guest, though, stayed up late singing and dancing with the family, which honestly made me wish we could have stayed longer.
I’d give this place a 20/10 if I could. I booked it thinking it was just somewhere interesting to sleep for the night. What I didn’t know was that it would end up being a highlight of my trip to China.

A real home away from home. Thanks to the boss Han for his care.
GGuest UserAn absolutely wonderful travel experience! The hotel boasts a fantastic location, and I was very pleased with both the service and the environment. Enjoying a coffee in the hotel cafe with the canyon breeze in the morning was incredibly relaxing. If you're lucky, you might even catch a breathtaking sunset, truly a golden glow painting the mountains and rivers into a dream!
AAnonymous UserGreat stay here but cleanliness of the room can be improved. Washing machine is the small, old and simple type, not the big ones we usually use😅 dryer is more like spin/air dry (washer and dryer in one machine but 2 different compartments). Lift is quite slow and the corridor lights only lights up when motion/sound is detected and its not sensitive 😂 it was pitch black when the lift door open and the lights only light up when we accidentally dropped a bottle that created a very loud noise 😂 Anyway the host is very helpful in checking in process, can consider staying here if you’re just dropping by the city for a night.

DDaisy_CC.Traveling with a dog 🧳Road Trip 2️⃣ night, experience a rural homestay 🏨.
The room is large, the living room 🛋️ is very spacious, equipped with a kitchen and a bar, suitable for long-term stay.
Suggestion: Currently, you need to stand in the bathtub to shower 🚿, and water splashing all over the floor is inevitable. I hope to improve it❤️.
GGuest UserThe room was very clean and warm. His B&B actually had heating. The boss said it was graphene electric floor heating. He said it had rained in Hohhot a few days ago and he was worried that we would be cold. He had already heated it before we came. The boss was very special. I was so enthusiastic and gave me a large bucket of pure water. The facilities are complete and even include my favorite disposable toilet pads, disposable water cups and mouthwash cups. In addition, there are huge fruits in the yard.
Mmll_sagaWe stayed here for 3 nights and had a very pleasant stay overall.
The location is excellent, close to Dazhao Temple and the city centre food streets.
The room was spacious, bright and quiet, with very comfortable beds, and we also enjoyed the lovely terrace outside.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
A few things could be improved: housekeeping was limited during our stay, some sockets were not working, and the lighting setup between the beds was slightly inconvenient.
Overall, a great stay and a good base for visiting Hohhot.

GGuest UserI stay in hostels mainly for convenience, a lively atmosphere, and affordability.
The location is good, and check-in is quick and easy. The beds have curtains, charging stations, and lockers with their own lockers, which is reassuring. Clean sheets, hot water for showers anytime, and fast Wi-Fi are all essential. Overall, it's comfortable, convenient, cheap, and offers great value for money.

KKasper KasperIt's an apartment turned into hostel by lining it with bunk beds - a concept popular in China.
The hostel is unstaffed. You have to contact ahead for address and instructions. It takes a while so patience is key. There is a deposit of 100 yuan.
Other reviewers say it's clean. I don't agree. The apartment I strayed at had 4 rooms, 18 beds in total, one bathroom, and a kitchen. One bathroom for 18 people means that sometimes you wait. They call them capsules but they are normal bunk beds with curtains.
It was stuffy, but every bed has a small electric fan. The problem is that there is only one power socket next to the bed, so I had a choice: beat the heat or charge my phone.
The location is good, just two metro stops from the railway station, and walking distance (2-3 km) from the old town area. Downstairs there're a supermarket, several restaurants, shops, which is very convenient.

TTuRbHotel location for airport departures okey. But there is no sharing shower. Only for the toilet, if you booked the single sharing washroom.
Hotel owner was friendly, helpful.
