SSangebengbengStaying at Moshai Meishu for my trip to Qingdao was incredibly convenient! 🥳
The guesthouse has its own cafe and restaurant, so I could enjoy delicious food and drinks right by the sea without having to search for places to eat. 🍚
From the scenic staircase, I could walk directly onto the white sand beach 🏖️ – no detours needed. Parking was super easy too, which was great since I drove.
The room had a fantastic view 🌊, and the cliffside observation deck was perfect for capturing stunning sunset photos. Lying there and watching the sea was so therapeutic~
The housekeeper even kindly helped register our entry into the scenic area and recommended a great itinerary for exploring Laoshan. #

AAnonymous UserMy kids absolutely love the Mio Mi B&B series! The rooms are so much fun, and the staff are incredibly nice. Plus, the bedding is super comfortable. This family-friendly B&B is on a high floor, offering great views, and the location is also excellent. It would be even more perfect if there were a common play area or a swimming pool.

MMarcelo Alexis Norambuena SepulvedaI stayed here for several days in winter as a solo traveler from Chile, and I had a very positive experience. The homestay is excellently located in the German historic quarter of Qingdao, just a short walk from St. Michael’s Cathedral. The area is lively during the day but very quiet at night, which makes it ideal for resting. It is also within walking distance of Qingdao Railway Station (around 15 minutes) and close to metro lines 1, 3 and 4, offering very good connectivity. Many historical landmarks are easily reachable on foot, including Signal Hill Park and the coastal promenade.
The room was small but comfortable, with underfloor heating and air conditioning, which is especially appreciated in winter. The private bathroom was also compact but very functional, with good water pressure and basic toiletries provided. Everything was kept spotlessly clean and well maintained.
The staff were very kind and welcoming. At least one person spoke basic English, enough to communicate with international guests, and the rest of the team were always willing to help. They also kindly stored my luggage after check-out, which was very convenient.
Overall, the value for money was excellent. I found the service and facilities to be more than fair for the price, and I would highly recommend this homestay to solo travelers visiting Qingdao in winter who are looking for a well-located, quiet and friendly place to stay.

GGuest UserThe service was very enthusiastic. They drew a map for us and introduced us to the attractions. The courtyard environment is also very good. The flowers and plants planted and the fish raised are very comfortable. The first floor where we lived was a bit damp, but I am very satisfied with the price.

GGuest UserThe room type was excellent, and the hygiene was good. The hotel is directly across from Shilaoren Beach, making it very convenient to watch the sunrise. The service attitude was great, and the environment was pleasant. The large floor-to-ceiling windows were very comfortable.

GGuest UserNice privately-owned hotel in an old building right in the middle of the historical former German district. I enjoyed the stay.
A couple of things you need to realize, though:
1) no supermarkets around. The nearest convenience store is a good 500 meters walk at ”Taipinjiao Park” subway station;
2) no budget restaurants/Western fast food shops. Plenty of fancy overpriced local food restaurants nearby, however;
3) room cleaning is light. They just replace trash bags and towels. No making up the bed or floor mopping;
4) you'll see ants, mosquitoes and an occasional spider in the room, as it's located in a very old Japanese-occupation era building in a garden-like environment. But they warn you about that in the hotel Welcome message. Plus the hotel provides an anti-mosquito pluggable device. Use it.
5) there's a restaurant on premices right in front of the hotel rooms. They play music, but not loud enough to bother me. They close shop at 8pm. There's another restaurant right next door. That one is louder, but even them wind up at around 9pm. So, it didn't bother me...
6) the manager is very much responsive. He sent me a welcome message the day before I checked in, plus the hotel exact location map, so I could find it. The other hotel/restaurant staff are very friendly also.
I enjoyed the stay. Bathing Beach 2 (an old German pivate villas beach) is right next door, so I did plenty of sunbathing and swimming. Fun...

GGuest UserTraveling with friends, I found a random place. I didn't expect the room to be very clean and tidy, and the room is spacious. In comparison, this is the most comfortable place to live. The price is not high, and the environment is quite good.

HHannah20180This hotel is one of several that have rooms in an apartment complex right next to the airport. We had difficulty finding the right hotel, because the name on trip.com did not match the Chinese name of the hotel. The location on Amap also did not match with the exact location. If you are standing at the main gate to the apartment complex, the hotel office is to the right, near the end of a row of shops/offices (not to the left like Amap indicates). Once we got the right phone number and added the hotel on WeChat, it was easy to find. The room itself was nice and comfortable. The lady on duty drove us to our rooms (it is about a 5 minute walk from the rooms to the front of the apartment complex). They also arranged a free ride to the airport for us at 5:30am the next morning. We never managed to get the Wi-Fi to work, but we didn’t really need it for our short stay. If we had contacted the front desk about it, I am sure they would have helped us solve the problem. Overall, a good hotel to stay at if you need somewhere close to the airport the night before a flight out.

It is very close to the Dunhua Road subway station of Line 3. The transportation is convenient. There are many delicious food and convenience stores downstairs. It is worth recommending.

RRed_bearI think the location of this affordable hotel is excellent, the seashore is close (with the beaches), the metro station and the skyscrapers are nearby, the market is just there to buy food including vegetables and fruits.
I read reviews that claim it's in a bad neighborhood. Not at all. What I saw is that the first building of the street is half abandoned nobody cleans that part of the street and that gives a bad impression. But you can just walk on the other side of the road.
This is the first time that I had a room, not only a bed. I booked a room without a window but the receptionist lady gave me a single room with window.
The room is normal (see photos), there was a mosquito net on the window.
The pillow was hard but it was good to my spine.
The toilet / bathroom was a mixture of a modern toilet and a traditional toilet you can clean up yourself using shower or little bowl.
There was cleaning everyday.
There was a kettle to boil water. I got a very big thermos bottle 2L to store the hot water.
It's easy to find the hotel because there's street number too and many photos show the hotel in reviews.
If the hotel is full the toilet / bathroom can be occupied but there's a park with large plastic flowers on the way to the sea where there's a new large toilet (see photo).
You can use that too.
