GGuest UserThis is an aparthotel with studios equipped with a kitchenette and everything needed to prepare a quick meal, tea, coffee, etc. It's located 1.5 km from the city center. Two bus lines stop within a 2-minute walk of the hotel: lines 6 and 10 run to the city from Palmeretes and to the hotel stop Cigarreras. The fare is €1.45 each way. The aparthotel is situated in a quiet residential area and has a swimming pool with sun loungers on the 5th floor. Some studios also have terraces. Opened in 2024, the hotel boasts exceptionally tasteful decor in the public areas and functional furnishings in the small studios.
I chose this hotel because parking is relatively easy to find nearby.
Breakfast is available for order. However, the studios are well-equipped for preparing breakfast there, and there are supermarkets in the vicinity.
The reception staff is available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. After that time, there is a phone number you can call. The reception staff is very friendly.
The studios are relatively small. They are functionally furnished with a nice bathroom. Keep in mind that noise from the hallway can definitely be heard in the room. I was lucky that the room next to mine was only occupied by one person on the last night. The noise level—especially from the wall-mounted TV—was incredible, which ultimately negatively impacted my stay. It seems that soundproofing was skimped on in this new hotel. The room door is opened via a link that you receive beforehand, as is the front door. There is a security code for both doors. My studio was automatically heated to a comfortable temperature in December, even though the weather wasn't ideal.

Great place to stay as Hostal Pensimar is a little off the beaten track, that is the charm of this place. Lots of buses and taxis if you dont have a car.
The small town of L'Altet where the hostal is has a friendly feel , the locals ”Buenos Dias ” that I was greated with on lots of occasions was fab.
The guys who run this family business are genuine, friendly and helpful I was very impressed.
Would stay here again if in the area. Did not hear the airplanes at the airport when inside the hostal but outside I did, this did not bother me at all.

GGuest UserThis is a nice boutique hotel located in the heart of Altea. Location is fantastic and the staff very friendly. The hotel has also a restaurant attached to it with a very cozy terrace. We did not try the food, but it looked quite appealing and they also have a great selection of wines. Breakfast was great and you can also choose from a selection of toast which is prepared for you (not buffet style breakfast). The room was clean and spacious. Perhaps the only downside was the size of the TV, but yeah not so important.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean, perfect rooms and air conditioned. The bathroom is common but always very clean and clean.
C is a fresh water distributor and a kitchen where you can make a coffee and a good refrigerator.
Note of merit the owner, a gentle, gentle and smileful gentleman.

GGuest UserThe air conditioning doesn't work, at least in my room.. We passed heat because when we opened the windows to reconcile the dream we were screwed up by mosquitos ... at last we didn't sleep for an hour.
The bathroom has a window without just in the shower.
The staff were very attentive, the bed is 80 cm but the bed is quite comfortable.
