"We had a wonderful stay at Petite Hotel Resort!! Right from the time we arrived (in the rain) they were immediately attentive to our needs, immediately telling me where I could park my rental car and the shortest way to get back. Despite his busy-ness, Hirohisa took the time to explain everything to us and made sure we were comfortable. The dinner served was pretty good and with generous portions. But what made it outstanding was the service and the narrations that we had about the various historic music players in the room and the stories of their history that were given by Hirohisa. He also took time to tell us about the individual dishes and with pride explained how everything was sourced from the surrounding region. The private bath was on the rooftop of the building, with a wonderful view of the night sky and surrounding hills. It was a pity that the sky was clouded over, else I'm sure we would have had a chance to do some stargazing while in the bath. This stay was definitely a highlight of this trip of ours to Japan, and we can definitely highly recommend staying at Petite in the beautiful town of Yubara.
