Amazing
GGuest UserAway from the hustle and bustle of the city, waking up in the morning is the breath of the forest and the birdsong to welcome the day, very healing and quiet. The environment allows people to really slow down and have a good rest. The owner of the homestay is kind and enthusiastic, making people feel warm. The breakfast was prepared very carefully and the choice was rich. The porridge was particularly delicious and impressive. The overall accommodation experience is very relaxing and is a place that I would like to visit again.
AAnonymous UserSummary:
We had a great stay here at SkyView Monjam! The house had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay, albeit certain obscure corners could be cleaned up better. The staff were excellent and took great care of us, providing us with good food and catering to our requests as much as possible. Would definitely come back again for a relaxing retreat!
Cleanliness:
Overall very clean, though certain areas that are more difficult to reach in general could see certain signs of nature. But those areas are not visible unless you purposely look into it, which won't affect your stay overall. Staff will ask if the house needs to be cleaned daily, then changes the bedsheets and covers if yes. So rest assured that the sheets are clean and fresh.
Location:
Not the most accessible, but that should be expected when you are booking this place since it is up in the mountain area. Driving takes at least 1 hour with confident driving skills on windy mountainous roads. The last 200m or so to the house is bumpy off-road tracks. Transportation to and fro can be requested to the staff and booked at least 1 day in advance for a fixed fee. Do not bother trying to get Grab/Bolt rides as the final fare will end up much higher due to rural location and road condition. In fact, why bother going out when you can relax in nature 😃
Service:
Simply put, it was equivalent to a 5-star resort. The staff were very accommodating to our requests and timings, even waiting for us near past their working hours and our requested time to help prepare our dinner! Be rest assured that you will be well taken care of during the stay!
Amenities:
The MVP was the speaker provided, it stayed with us throughout our whole stay. Wifi was strong and readily available despite being in a less urban area. Shower water is fixed at a temperature as the hot water is boiled using gas, so any adjustments will require assistance from the staff to physically change the gas intake of the boiler. The air-conditioning is not the strongest at cooling the entire house, so a standing fan is provided to help circulate the cool air around. Other than utensils which can be requested from the staff, cooking appliances and tools are readily available.
GGuest UserThe view of this room is really nice. Bathtub 🛁 is so big. My kid likes the bathtub a lot.
Breakfast was served in the room. The taste was really nice. Very authentic local food. The weather is cold at night. Should be 13c, I guess.. I have to turn off the air-conditioner at 10pm.
MMukkyCandyVery good, worth the price. The only problem is that it's difficult to go up and down the accommodation. Very tiring 😆 But I feel 80% healthier, both physically and mentally. The weather is good, not hot, the atmosphere is good, but when it rains, the wind is very strong. When the electricity goes out, someone comes to generate backup power and has a fan for when the electricity doesn't come on. There are signs at the entrance all the way after entering the Mae Sa Noi entrance. It's very good, good enough to shout. The staff are lovely. If there's anything, you can call or follow up all the time. Very happy. Next time, if there's a chance, I'll come again.
GGuest UserIt’s a very unique glamping experience . The rooms are clean and have all the basics. If you’re going in the cold season, take extra blanket and layers for the night as it gets super cold inside the rooms.
It’s close to mon jam sky view. If yiu’re into hiking or running, the loop is also just next to you.
The gentleman at the reception is very welcoming, and genuinely kind. He helped us with our car issue patiently and kindly. We didn’t get to thank him properly as he was dealing with some arriving guest. So, thank you so much for your help.
GGuest UserI visited during the rainy season, and the area outside the room was wet and slippery from the driving rain. I suspect the gas water heater in the bathroom was leaking; there was tape wrapped around the gas supply pipe, and a gas smell filled the room. This made me quite apprehensive about using the bathroom. However, the view was beautiful, thanks to its elevated location.
SshwekoThe view here is stunning. The highlight is definitely the bathtub where you can soak while enjoying the scenery—it was amazing. The Moo Krata set is 500 THB, which is tasty and worth the price. The free breakfast is simple, consisting of porridge, toast, instant coffee, and juice. Getting here is very easy; the road is a smooth drive and there is plenty of parking. The only downside I found was the lack of hot water. Other than that, everything was great.
BBae-wangStarting with high tea set included. Amazing views and weather. There are alot of homestay along the mountain . But only a few are on the list so choose this one . But still a good choice . Good toilet and hot shower attached. Direct sunlight so a bit hot after 8am. It would be the best if they could provide reclining chair instead of the short stool so that we could enjoy more of the scenery.
