Amazing
CChristiene TrinidadStayed at Peanuts Le Thanh Ton first and ended up extending our trip, so we moved to the Tran Hung Dao branch for a more nights. Honestly this branch has a very different vibe and we really liked it. Biggest plus point is the location inside a local alley, very peaceful compared to the busy main streets in District 1. At night it was surprisingly cool and quiet, sometimes we just sat downstairs in the common living area with the fan on and it already felt super comfortable. You really get that local living feeling here lah. Do note that cars/taxis cannot stop directly in front of the house because the alley is small, so you need to walk around 1-2m. But for us it was totally fine and honestly made the place feel even more authentic. We stayed as a family so this setup worked really well. There’s a kitchen, living room and common area, which made it feel homey instead of just renting a room. The bedroom itself is not huge, but everything feels new, sturdy and thoughtfully prepared. Also special thanks to Thu Thuy, Thao Hien super kind and responsive even when we texted late at night 😭 Before we checked out she even came by to say goodbye personally which was honestly very sweet and memorable. We’ll definitely come back next time in HCMC ❤️ P/s: the TV was a bit difficult to use 😅 It would be even better if there was a simple guideline for guests.

DDennyciaoExcellent Location, great place with special atmosphere. The service is absolutely perfect, the waiters are kind and always available. Just couple of notes: Since they use their own laundry the towels stink. They need more detergent for sure. This is a problem of several M village i have tried. The furniture of this particulare place are quite rough. Cant really justify the same room fee similar to other better hotels of the same chain. For the rest the place is great. Quiet, with a long table to work with laptop. Not far from the center. Cheers

PPhuoczz TranCheck-in was easy; I contacted them in advance and the host had staff to greet me and assist with check-in, providing very detailed instructions on how to use the electrical appliances. The apartment is located in the Landmark area, which is convenient for living and has many restaurants on the basement level (B1) of the building. A memorable experience, thanks everyone!

DDavid LeroyI arrived at 4am in the morning due to a delayed flight. Even though I had to wake the owner up, he was very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is great, down an alley near the popular touristy area. Even though it is an easy walking distance from the bars and restaurants, it is quiet in the room. The owners are very nice and helpful (and speak English). They helped me get a taxi and offered information about the area.

Aanna2525We stayed at Coucou Homestead for 3 nights, in the dorm. Linh showed us the place and was very attentive with us. The only thing is the noise; as it can happen in a dorm, some people are not respectful and make a lot of noise during the night. For a 6 person dorm, it was very loud until 3:30 AM, which was a little annoying. I suggest a female bed dorm, probably quieter and safer for female travelers 🙏🏽

GGuest UserThis luxury condo, part of the VIN chain, felt very modern and had a great atmosphere. There's a large shopping mall conveniently located nearby, offering international cuisine, an ice-skating rink, and a park, all within walking distance. However, the mall and restaurants close at 10 PM, and there aren't any street food stalls, so it's a good idea to plan your dinner ahead of time. I was a bit concerned because I heard short-term rentals were prohibited, but this place has 24-hour staff who escort you to your room via the elevator. It was a little confusing at first, but once we got used to it, everything went smoothly without any issues. However, the room we stayed in (Landmark L4 on the 43rd floor) honestly felt a bit neglected maintenance-wise. The showerhead holder was broken, some tiles were lifting and cracked, and the caulking around the kitchen sink had mold. I also felt that the overall cleanliness could have been better. The staff were very kind, and their WhatsApp responses were quick and helpful. Thank you, Thuong! As I'm looking for a place to live in Vietnam in the future, it was great to experience VIN Homes. My recommendation would be to contact them before arrival to arrange a meeting point and time for a smoother check-in. Also, it might be easier to spot the elevator escort staff if they wore more noticeable uniforms. That way, you wouldn't have to send multiple messages late at night.

TTammy y nI really enjoyed my stay here! The room was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. I read some reviews that mentioned the street was noisy but it was not bothersome at all. It’s very peaceful and quiet in the evenings so I slept just fine, and the early morning you will hear street noise but that made for a better experience honestly. The city has a different energy early in the morning so why would you want to sleep in? I wish I could’ve stayed longer so I will definitely book here again on my next trip to the city. 😊

BBeboy MaquitedThis hotel offers a truly comfortable and relaxing stay, perfect for both short visits and longer trips. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, combining modern amenities with a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Its central location is a huge advantage, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. Getting around the city is effortless, whether you're traveling for business or leisure. The aesthetic of the hotel is particularly impressive, with stylish interiors that create a warm and inviting ambiance. Every corner feels carefully curated, adding a touch of elegance to the overall experience. Overall, it’s a wonderful choice for anyone seeking convenience, comfort, and a visually pleasing stay.

GGuest UserI booked this place last minute at the airport, at first I only planned to stay for 1 night then move to a hotel, since I was a bit concerned that there were no reviews yet :)) But once I stayed at Peanuts Home, I felt super comfortable. honestly, it’s the perfect way to explore Saigon. In the end, I decided to stay here for almost a week (Cozy Latte & Green Forest Room) :) Below are my thoughts, hope it’s useful 1. Location: - The home is tucked inside a quiet alley on Calmette Street, very convenient for getting around. You can easily walk to Ben Thanh Market or Bach Dang Wharf to catch the water bus/boat along the Saigon River. Great location, peaceful alley with lots of greenery, and there are two entrances so it’s easy to access. At the alley entrance there’s a noodle shop that was sooo good, i ate there three times! - There’s also a bank right outside the alley, so withdrawing cash and exchanging money was very convenient. - Seems like this is a Chinese neighborhood, with plenty of tasty restaurants that really fit my palate. - And yes, it’s close to Bui Vien walking street (nightlife), but please remember to be quiet when coming back late since it’s a local residential area. The neighbors are super friendly 2. Service: - This deserves a highlight: the host is very friendly and supportive. I booked at a time when she was free, and since it was just the two of us traveling, we even got to hang out together, so nice huhu. Honestly, I only want to stay here when I come back to HCMC :) - The room is fully equipped. What I loved most is that even the toothpaste is a proper branded one, not some generic version. Ms. Thu Thuy, the host, said she wants to give guests the best experience and doesn’t like using unbranded stuff. - The house has a washing machine and dryer, plus detergent and softener are provided, super convenient for longer stays. - Not sure what fragrance or essential oil they use, but the whole place smelled amazing, like when I stayed at Best Western hotels. Overall, it was a memorable experience in Vietnam. See you soon! Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting HCMC.

GGuest UserThis hotel is a good budget hotel in a location close enough to walk into the centre. HOWEVER, so many negative points. I messaged the owner as we wouldn't be arriving at 2/3am if it's possible to check in, and their communication was good and on arrival I called her and she got out of bed to let us in which was nice. But we were rudely awoken at 8am by extremely noisy construction work which felt in the next room, every morning during our stay, so please ask if the renovations have finished because it was incredibly disruptive. The next point would be the small window in the room with no curtains letting light in at first light, not great if you're a light sleeper. Next the shower didn't heat up and the water on the floor really struggled to drain away so the bathroom floor would hold a lot of water when using the toilet, sink etc after a shower. The beds hard but that's typical in Vietnam. And finally they have a pug (dog) in a small cage right by the entrance which was distressing to see, even after living in Vietnam for many years. It’s common at homes but not at a hotel where not everyone agrees with it. But no receptionist if you like privacy which is a bonus and was easy to come back late at night.
