This is the worst hotel I have ever been in. I am on my 50's and have never seen anything this bad. This was listed as a choice hotel. The rooms have not been updated since the 70's at least. There was 2 towels, 1 bath cloth and 1 hand towel in the room. The flooring looked new but there were dips in it where you thought you were going to fall through. The bed was mediocre to say the least. I would never return and neither were our friends that stayed there as well. The rug in the lobby was disgustingly dirty, the room had no blow dryer. The plate inside the microwave was missing and the inside had not been cleaned. Our fridge worked but our friends next door had a fridge full of mold and mildew that didn't work. When we asked for more towels they said they had to wash them to bring some back. They argued about giving us 2 bath cloths when there was clearly 2 of us in the room. This place needs to be condemned immediately! Run like hell and never go there. I wouldn't even go to the lobby for the continental breakfast. I wouldn't eat anything that came out of there. We were horrified but had booked online and would have been charged if we cancelled. The tile in the bathroom moved when you stepped on it and although the shower was clean and I used it I really didn't want to.

Econolodge will not refund your deposit. While waiting in the lobby, I saw another guest return to complain about their deposit not being refunded. The same thing happened to me. The rooms are also dirty and I got bedbug bites. Most of the guests are probably there because they got evicted and had no short term living options.

I should have known when I pulled in and there were NO OTHER CARS in the lot, that this was not the right place to stay. But I had booked it months in advance and it was dirt cheap. Dirt cheap for a reason. They make you pay all nights in advance, the security lock on our door was broken, the dresser drawers were broken, the floor boards had gaps in them, one of the lights didn't turn on, another room we passed had the room number hand written on the door, and I'm pretty sure the mattresses were from the 1960s. The microwave was one of those old 1980s ones with the dial, and the loud humming.

NEVER have I had such a bad experience in a hotel/ motel and I have stayed in some pretty bad dives in Central America. This place makes dives there look like Presidential palaces. Floor had NOT been swept in God knows how long. The lampshade was literally "rotted" and falling off the frame. The casing for the light over the sink area was separated from the ceiling and the "repair" was stuffing toilet paper in the crack. AMAZING. The bedspread was torn and chunks were missing out of it. The toilet was NOT even bolted to the floor and moved around with ease. The ceiling had to have been painted by a 3rd grader as was very uneven and even splotchy in places. NO WIFI... bad area of town, Dresser drawer was broken, and the microwave knobs were missing! I had been camping so we put our sleeping bags on the bed because the sheets were dodgy and questionable as well... If you are looking for an adventure you will NEVER forget.. Get room 120... THIS IS THE PLACE !!!

This is the first time I have ever walked out of a hotel. I can put up with a lot. I expect a room commensurate with the cost and this was CHEAP. So I expected dingy. What we got was DisGusting and Unsafe! First, the parking lot was sketchy as heck. There is a homeless encampment through the back fence and when we arrived at 10pm there were guys in cars just cruising around and around the hotel, yelling at anyone outside. I had booked and paid ahead, so we figured we could tough it out. The room was incredibly dark. The only lamp in the room didn't work and I discovered there was no plug on the cord. The light over the sink was very dim and I got an electrical shock from the broken switch for the bathroom light, which turned on and off sporadically like a horror film. The bathroom floor was spongy, like a rotten wood floor, which made little sense on the first floor of a poured concrete building, but it felt like we were about to fall through the floor. The toilet had already sunk about 1/2 inch into the floor and I cut my foot on the broken tile when I stepped into the bathroom. The shower curtain was shredded and there was a pile of dirt and a sock behind the bathroom door, which also had no door handle on the inside of the door. The only chair in the room, the ceiling, and the back of the door were splattered with huge dark splatter stains. It felt like a cheesy Halloween ******* house, it was so bad. Adding to this just seems like overkill at this point, but if we had opted to stay, which we didn't, the sheets didn't fit the bed and the pillow was paper thin. The desk clerk refused to give us a refund and we moved up the hill to Super 8 (and had a very pleasant stay.)

Upon checking in, there was already a customer asking for a refund after looking at TWO rooms ! I proceeded with caution & asked if I nag inspect the room before I made purchase. The first room I could not get in because the key would not work. So I went back downstairs to get another key to another room. The room was decent. Updated inside but the remote did not work for tv & bed was ok. The pillows were prison issued so very thin. The only good experience about the drag was the the girl that checked me in was helpful & pretty. Probably won’t drag here again though.
