Tai O Heritage Hotel

景色贊，一樓很舒服，

A foreign friend came to Hong Kong for a trip and wanted to take her to a place that not many people knew about, so she chose the Tai O Heritage Hotel, which was once the first Marine Police Station on Lantau Island. There are not many rooms here. We stayed for one night on a Monday and there were not many tourists, so there was no feeling of crowding. I booked a suite upstairs for a friend, which was the former Marine Police Officer's residence, and I stayed in a cheaper room downstairs. The place has been restored very well, retaining the colonial style of the early 20th century. My friend said it felt like traveling back in time to the stories of the British novelist Somerset Maugham. All reviews are full marks, including the location, because although some people may find the transportation a bit inconvenient, the beautiful scenery more than makes up for it. highly recommended!

The hotel has well maintained the style of the original historic building, and the rooms have the original structure and are very distinctively decorated. The hotel is located at the end of Tai O Fishing Village, where you can experience the fishing village style.

First of all, this comment is not a complaint, I just hope that such a beautiful hotel will do better in the future. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the hotel from the station. People who stay here definitely don't come and go in a hurry or check in to take a souvenir. There are many solutions, but the hotel does not thoroughly put the customer's needs first. For example, use a trolley to help push it. Unless you stay in the hotel and don't go out, or eat unpalatable food in the restaurant. Otherwise, you have to walk from the hotel to the town once or twice a day, which would be annoying. Hotels should provide bicycles to guests. In fact, hotels have considered many ideas, but they have not implemented them effectively. As a non-profit organization, the entire hotel has only 9 rooms and is fully staffed. There are always more ways than difficulties. We like this hotel very much, but we really don't dare recommend it to friends for fear of being criticized.
