Royal Plaza Hotel

Mong Kok's travel ceiling! Royal Plaza Hotel made my entire Hong Kong trip comfortable and healing. I stayed at the Royal Plaza Hotel throughout my self-guided trip to Hong Kong, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I simply must write a detailed review. The room was cleaned daily by dedicated staff, with impeccable hygiene control. The entire room was spotless, clean, and comfortable. The butler service was highly responsive and efficient; when I needed cutlery, it was delivered to the room instantly, which was very thoughtful. Every evening, I like to relax with a bath. The bathtub was clean and odorless. After a tiring day of travel, a hot bath washed away all the fatigue. Downstairs, there's direct access to Mui Wah Bing Tang, offering authentic Hong Kong-style food readily available and delicious, making dining out extremely convenient. What surprised me most was the location: the hotel is seamlessly connected to Grand Century Place, and Mong Kok East Station is right outside. Taking the MTR to major popular spots like Ocean Park, Disneyland, Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Causeway Bay was a breeze, with no need to worry about transportation. In Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, the rooms are spacious and wide, providing maximum comfort, suitable for both family trips and solo travelers. Two small, heartwarming suggestions for the hotel's improvement: Currently, the cutlery and bowls provided are a bit small. It was slightly inconvenient when I occasionally cooked Samyang Buldak noodles at night. If larger instant noodle bowls could be added, it would better cater to the needs of young guests. Also, if a stainless steel caddy could be installed on the bathtub, allowing for a glass of wine, aromatherapy, or a book while bathing, the ambiance and experience would be even better. Overall, it's impeccable. Hardware, service, and location are all top-notch. I will prioritize choosing this hotel again for my next trip to Hong Kong. I sincerely recommend it to all visitors to Hong Kong!

Facilities: The facilities were decent, but for a family room, ours only had a bathtub and no shower. I saw previous comments mentioning a shower, but the front desk said we'd have to pay extra, so we just skipped it. Hygiene: The room was generally quite clean. Environment: The environment was good, with a mall right downstairs and very convenient subway access. Service: The service for luggage storage downstairs was not great; the staff member had a poor attitude. However, the next person who helped us was fine.

The room had a 160-degree bay window, and the swimming pool was really convenient. Drinking water was readily available. I stayed for three nights, and the room was thoroughly cleaned every day. The daily room checks were also very meticulous.

The twin room with 1.5m beds was spacious enough for 4 people, which is great for Hong Kong. Downstairs, there's a mall and a metro station, making dining and shopping very convenient. The only downside was the lack of complimentary bottled water. But overall, I'd give it 5 stars ⭐️

This is our second time staying at the Royal Plaza Hotel. We've brought our kids to Hong Kong for two consecutive years and stayed here both times. The biggest highlight of this hotel is its two 1.5-meter beds, which are perfect for a family of four. Secondly, its location is excellent – right near the MTR exit, inside the Grand Century Place, making it very easy to find. Taking a bus is also convenient. Plus, the kids absolutely loved the swimming pool. It's truly our top choice!

The 30-square-meter room is incredibly family-friendly, especially when traveling with children. For Hong Kong, this is actually a spacious room. The location is super convenient, directly above Mong Kok East MTR station and connected to the Grand Plaza mall. The mall has everything from KFC and McDonald's to local 'bing sutt' (tea restaurants) and various other eateries, plus shopping for clothes. The only downside is that it gets very crowded, and the lobby can feel a bit chaotic.

I stayed here alone, and it was pretty good. The service was nice, and the facilities were quite complete. Downstairs there's a big mall and the Mong Kok East MTR station. Environment: Clean Service: Good, though I haven't tried the breakfast here so I can't comment. Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive, and there's an outdoor swimming pool.
