The location is pretty good, right by Sai Ying Pun MTR Exit A1. You can take airport bus A10 and get off at Connaught Garden. There's a Mannings and a 7-Eleven right across the street, and it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the lively areas of Central and Sheung Wan. There's no sea view, and it's slightly smaller than the other Ramada. The shower water pressure is great, but the hairdryer can be a bit hard on the hands. No toothbrush or toothpaste provided. For August, HKD 540 a night felt a bit pricey.

Wanted to take my kids to the University of Hong Kong, so I specifically chose the Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View since it's within walking distance. The hotel decor is generally a bit dated, and the standard room's shower only has a curtain, which felt a bit basic. The highlight was definitely the rooftop pool, which my kids absolutely loved.

Pros: The hotel's exterior decoration is nice, and there's a 7-Eleven and McDonald's downstairs. It's also close to Sai Ying Pun MTR station. Cons: There were some minor stains on the bed sheets, the shower gel dispenser wasn't securely fixed, and we had to wait a long time for the elevator.

I booked this hotel because of the rooftop pool, but it turned out to be tiny. Fewer than ten people made it feel crowded. The room facilities were very old, and the disposable slippers provided were so thin, like paper, that I was afraid to wear them because they seemed slippery. Even on the lowest setting, the air conditioning was deafening, which really affected my sleep. The hot water was okay, but overall the room was super, super small. We had to put our luggage on the bed to get things out and then put it away again, haha. Disappointing.

Objective Feedback and Complaint Regarding [Hotel Name]'s Serious Failure to Meet 4-Star Standards As a Hong Kong citizen who has long lived and worked in mainland China, I returned to Hong Kong and stayed at your hotel with the intention of supporting local service industries. However, the actual experience left me deeply disappointed. This discrepancy isn't due to my unfamiliarity with the Hong Kong hotel industry; rather, it's precisely because I've become accustomed to efficient, convenient, and personalized service standards in mainland China that I find your hotel's outdatedness and arrogance so disheartening. To prevent future guests from misunderstanding and to urge your hotel to address these issues, I will now present the specific facts: I. Extremely outdated hardware facilities and unreasonable spatial layout 1. Cramped guest room space: The room is visibly less than 10 square meters. Two single beds, 90 cm wide, are placed flush against the walls, leaving only a very narrow passage in between, making it almost impossible to fully open a suitcase. The bedside table (see attached photo) is squeezed between the two beds; it's not only miniature in size but also severely worn, and the drawers cannot even close properly. 2. Primitive bathroom conditions: The bathroom area is extremely small, with the shower area only separated by a shower curtain, lacking a proper wet/dry separation design. The grout between the mosaic tiles on the walls is blackened, giving an overall damp and oppressive feeling, completely failing to meet the hygiene and comfort standards expected of a 4-star hotel. 3. Lack of maintenance in public areas: The hallway carpet (see attached photo) has obvious stains and damage, wallpaper is peeling, and the lighting is dim. The first impression is like an old guesthouse from ten years ago, completely lacking any sense of quality. II. Perfunctory amenity provision and extremely poor detail experience 1. Questionable slipper quality: This is the point I find most incomprehensible. The disposable slippers provided have soles as thin as paper (see close-up photo held in hand), offering no cushioning when walking on the floor. I even feared they would wear through directly. Such amenities, which cannot even ensure basic walking comfort, appearing in a hotel priced at HKD 700, show extreme disrespect to guests. 2. Missing basic supplies: While ostensibly responding to environmental protection or government guidelines, most hotels of similar caliber in the surrounding area already provide toothbrushes and bottled water as basic services. Not only does your hotel not provide these, but even the USB charging port is damaged (see close-up photo of the socket). This kind of 'one-size-fits-all' stinginess is not environmental protection but a regression in service awareness. III. Indifferent service attitude and lack of professionalism The front desk staff displayed obvious arrogance and impatience when handling issues. As service industry professionals, even if all requests cannot be met, basic listening and respect should be present. This 'take it or leave it' attitude is even more disheartening than the outdated hardware. IV. Core Point: Reflection on Hong Kong's Service Industry The reason I wrote this is not an emotional outburst, but rather as a Hong Kong citizen 'familiar with service standards in both places,' to remind the industry: Hong Kong's competitiveness lies not in nostalgia, but in its ability to keep pace with the times. If it continues to be complacent, it will only cause more locals like me to choose to leave, and erode foreign tourists' confidence in Hong Kong. I urge your hotel to address these issues and improve its hardware and services as soon as possible, otherwise, it will not only damage its own reputation but also drag down the entire image of Hong Kong's tourism industry.

The room isn't big, but it has everything you need. It's conveniently located with direct bus and subway access. The snacks downstairs are very authentic, and it's close to the beach. I'll definitely come back here next time.

It was okay. It was a bit pricey when I booked it, but it was clean, and now the subway is convenient too.

I was here for a 3-day business trip, booked online, and paid over 1900. You can see the actual conditions in the pictures. I'm not picky about accommodation, but seeing this, I left that same night. I tried to check out with the front desk and customer service, but they said I couldn't get a refund, so I just considered the money wasted. I don't want to list the negatives because there are no positives. It's worse than a 5-dollar room back home. The bed was half-sized, and there was only about 20cm of space on either side of it. The shower in the bathroom was roughly 60cm wide.

The location is excellent, right in the bustling Sai Ying Pun, making it convenient for getting around and dining. The hotel's service is very professional, although the facilities are a bit old and could use a renovation.
