Got a free room upgrade to a corner room on a high floor, which was really nice! The room was not very large, but it had a good layout and was clean and the fixtures all seemed pretty new. There were usb and usbc wall ports, which was good because I didn’t bring an adapter for hong kong outlets, although the power from them was not very consistent. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about there not being hot water but I didn’t have issues with that. I paid more for non-smoking treatment and am glad there were no smells in my room, but I think you might still smell something if neighbors or people in the hallway smoke.
The location is also decent. It is in a place that is in he middle of a neighborhood dense with people and shops, which I liked. Wan chai is somewhat far from other tourist destinations/train station and I spent a lot of time on public transit to/from this hotel.
This hotel was not that cheap, especially for a holiday weekend, but I was pretty happy with my stay here.

I've wanted to stay at Nanyang for a long time, and I finally booked it this time. The room isn't small, and the facilities aren't very old. Each floor has a water dispenser, which is really nice. It's very close to Times Square, and there's a street market right outside, making it very convenient for food. The first time you walk, it might feel a bit far from the MTR station, but once you're familiar with it, it's very close. Sogo department store is also just a few minutes' walk away, so shopping is super convenient.

The room size was pretty good, and it was clean and tidy. The mattress and duvet felt dry, not damp at all. For the price in Hong Kong, it's quite good. The bathroom has a smart toilet, and the toiletries smell really nice. Breakfast was quite varied, with a live cooking station. The front desk and restaurant staff were very warm and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're staying in Wan Chai.

The room size is big for Hong Kong. The rooms weren't recently renovated, there were stains on the bed linen, and the hot water just disappeared at some point while taking a shower and only appeared after 12 hours (we were on the 10th floor).

The location is very convenient, and the facilities are decent. Objectively speaking, it's not as high-end as hotels of the same price on the mainland, but it's acceptable for Hong Kong where space is at a premium. The 1.8-meter king-size bed was a nice touch.

This is my go-to hotel every time I'm in Hong Kong for business. The location is superb – just a ten-minute walk from Causeway Bay MTR station and a few hundred meters from Times Square. It's newly renovated, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. The staff are polite, and the breakfast offers more variety than other hotels, with flavors that are more appealing to Chinese palates. The restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to watch the 'ding ding' trams bustling by while you eat. The best part is that the price is cheaper than comparable hotels in the area. The only minor drawback is that there's no bottled water in the room.
