The room is on the smaller side but very clean, and the bed is large. It felt a bit cramped if you just leave things lying around, but there's good storage with cabinets and drawers. The location is excellent; it felt like we were just 20 steps from the subway exit. It's great for a stroll, with lots of delicious foreign restaurants nearby. It's also very close to Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the History Museum. From here, it's easy to get to Victoria Harbour to see the sea and take a boat tour, and enjoying the sea breeze on the Avenue of Stars was very pleasant. The nearby K11 building offers shopping and a rooftop garden to watch the light show. Getting to Luohu Port is also convenient.

Traveling solo to Hong Kong, I chose this hotel and it was perfectly situated right next to the MTR station. A quick right turn outside takes you to Don Quijote, and there's a delicious local cafe downstairs with amazing pineapple buns. Getting here from the airport was super easy with the A21 bus, which stops directly at the hotel. It's also very close to Victoria Harbour. The room itself was spotless and smelled wonderful, and as a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable. The front desk staff and cleaners were all very friendly. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

I checked into a standard room at the Grand Palace Hotel Hong Kong on January 1st. I arrived around 4 PM for check-in. After a normal check-in, I went to the room, and my first impression was that the bed seemed a bit small and the bathroom was very large (with a wheelchair symbol). Of course, I was just curious, dropped off my luggage, and left. I returned to the hotel around 11:30 PM and called the front desk to ask about the bed size. [Important: The standard room booking interface showed the bed options as two 0.9m single beds or one 1.5m double bed, and I had requested a double bed when booking.] After checking, the front desk informed me that the bed in this room was a 1.3m double bed and that this was an accessible room (see attached photo). The sink was too low for normal handwashing, and the showerhead, at its highest, only reached my mouth, making it impossible to shower properly. That night, the front desk mentioned that a room had checked out early, but it was a room with two 0.9m single beds, and they weren't sure if it had been cleaned as the housekeeping staff had already left. She needed to confirm. Since it was very late, I didn't want to waste time waiting, so I asked them to discuss internally and figure out a solution to discuss when I checked out the next day. When I checked out the next day, after explaining the whole situation, they admitted that the check-in staff hadn't given any warnings. The outcome of the discussion was that the payment wasn't made to them but to Trip.com, so only the platform could intervene. On January 3rd, I called Trip.com customer service and provided photos. After they communicated with the hotel, their feedback was: firstly, the hotel did not formally apologize, and secondly, the hotel did not agree to refund part of the room fee as compensation, only offering a free room upgrade and late check-out for a future stay. I ask you, how would you feel if you checked into an accessible room on the first day of the new year? While it's great to have special room types, guests should have the right to know and choose, and the service provided severely deviated from what was advertised. I would like to thank the two Trip.com staff members for their dedicated efforts in helping me resolve this. I hope the Trip.com product department can investigate this situation and carefully reconsider its partnership with this hotel.

As a resident of the Greater Bay Area, I frequently travel between Hong Kong and Macau. I usually opt for hotels in the Yau Tsim Mong district. This time, to attend Zhou Shen's New Year's Eve concert, I booked a hotel in mid-October. After a long search, I finally settled on the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel, due to its cleanliness, new facilities, and convenient location. It turns out I made an excellent choice! Although the room was small, it had everything I needed. The front desk staff were great; even though it wasn't 3 PM yet, they had a room ready and let us check in early. Housekeeping requests were also handled promptly. The hotel is close to the MTR station, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's just five stops to Sung Wong Toi from Kai Tak Station, with no transfers needed. There are also plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, like Tai Hei Ya, Wah Sao Cafe, Red Tea, and Lin Heung Tea House. You can drop off your purchases at the hotel and then continue shopping. The New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Hong Kong.

The bed was a bit firm, but the location is excellent, right outside the subway station. You can walk to most places in Tsim Sha Tsui's city center, which is great for exploring. The hotel itself is also very new and beautiful.
