There is a noisy vegetable market downstairs. The rooms are separated, similar to a shared house. There is no mouthwash cup in the room, the hair dryer is broken, there are no towels, one bath towel (1 large and 1 small occupancy), no hot water bottle, bottled water, shampoo and shower gel are in plastic boxes on the wall without labels. From check-in to check-out, there were three foreigners who didn't speak Chinese. In short, if I had known about this situation, I would not have stayed there for free. The weather was hot at that time, and I had a baby girl and two bags with me. I was worried about trouble and accidents, so I went out early after leaving the store. Be cautious, everyone.

This is a very, very ordinary accommodation hotel, because you have to enter the country from Hong Kong and then go back to the mainland, but the air ticket is bought late and you need to stay. This hotel can barely sleep

Best location. Hotels are for people who just need to sleep. It's less than four and a half tatami mats in size and has no windows. You will probably have to open and close your suitcase while on the bed. The single bed may be cramped for large people. I could hear people talking in the common space, but I couldn't hear anything from the next room. I didn't see any cockroaches in the residential area on the 13th floor, but I did meet them in the elevator hall. There is an air conditioner, a fan, and a wall-mounted TV. The shower and toilet with proper hot water are in the same booth, and there is no bathtub. It's probably body soap and shampoo, but I'm not sure which is which. Since we were staying for 2 nights, we brought 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste sets. There is a cup. One bath towel. WIFI is fast enough. There is a mini fridge. Bed making, cleaning and trash bin clearing (probably done between 10am and 2pm). Towels were replaced during cleaning. There is a water server in the common area. I made a reservation at Hotel Skystar, but the nameplate says Hotel Skycity :-) The staff were of Indian descent and spoke English that was easy to understand. This is a problem with Chungking Mansions, but depending on the timing, the elevators may be so crowded that you may not be able to get on the elevator in one go.
