very nice hotel, very clean room and facilities in general. excellent location for HK island. The breakfast is actually pretty bad, and the staff at breakfast did not really impress for their friendliness (understatement).
Regardless, I would go back there, no problem

The hotel is conveniently located near the US consulate, only an 8-minute bus ride away. However, it's important NOT to trust the map that suggests walking from Central Station to the hotel. Although it may seem like it's only a 15-minute walk, the route is actually very steep with many stairs. I strongly advise against walking from the MTR station to the hotel. Taking a taxi would be a better option, costing around 30 HKD. Additionally, the hotel offers a shuttle bus service to and from the MTR stations. There is also a bus station right outside the hotel so it would be quite convenient to go anywhere from the hotel.
The view from the hotel is great, the staff is friendly, and overall, I like this place.
Within walking distance of one of Hong Kong's business and financial centers as well as several shopping malls, the Garden View Hong Kong puts the Peak Tram Station, the trendy "Lan Kwai Fong" night club district and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Garden at guests' doorsteps. Several public transportation options and the MTR Central Station are also conveniently near.Spacious hotel rooms and suites overlooking the city with panoramic garden views, offer optimal comfort with full service at a reasonable price. Suites come with fully-equipped kitchens.

Had stayed with the Garden View at their garden view room before but this time didn’t manage to get that. It’s a slightly smaller room, but still good value for money and location is supreme.

Booked the Grand Premier Peak View King (Newly Renovated) room for accommodation before our big day. As we would have simple photo shoot inside the room, we asked the hotel if we could be arranged to a room with good view. The hotel was so kind to have upgraded our room to higher floor and the view was very nice.
The facilities in the room was new and easy to use. Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. With a combination of traditional exterior and modern decoration inside the room, I will recommend this room to everyone.

The hotel needs some update, but location is pretty good. It has a pathway that you can go directly to the mall next door, with all high end shops. The service is also average. We paid US$100 for early check in (6 hours early), and as they do not have any scale in the bathroom (usually hotels supply a scale in the bathroom), we are asked to bring our luggage down to the lobby to weigh.

Great stay experience, and several areas show the hotel's concern for its customers, such as placing an extra pillow in the wardrobe for rapid usage. Cutlery, a plate, and a can opener (which is unusual to see in other hotels).
One thing I was disappointed with was the sound isolation. Because a family of three or four lives next to my room, the commotion can still be heard across the door that separates my room from the next. Although the sound absorber board has been constructed, the noise remains evident.
The TV appeared a pleasant welcome show with my surname, which was definitely amazing utilizing an uncommon approach to greet consumers that I had ever seen.
Overall: 9/10

Excellent location, close to many things. Can take bus A11 from the airport with the stop opposite of the hotel. On the way back to the airport, you’ll need to cross back to the street where you alight, but turn right to continue on Gloucester Rd till you hit Kingston and the bus stop is on Gloucester Rd. Our room was booked with 2 twins and a sofa bed but we had to wait till 3pm for this room, so the hotel offered us a king bed with a sofa bed and we said ok and could check in right away at 11ish am. Our shower drain was stuck and they fixed it right away. Our TV control wasn’t working and they changed a new one right away and even came back to ask us if both things function well. They care!

One of the best hotel in Hong Kong. The view in room is astonishing and perfect where I can see clearly the Victoria harbor daytime and nighttime, especially at night.

Excellent
CChee yeeGood to stay , the room is spacious with bath tub , connected with the mall , it’s really nice place , the only minus will be the MTR station need to interchange , if u want to go and shop at the shoplot outside , need to walk around 15 mins minimum , overall still a good hotel
JJanet ChuLocation of hotel was quite convenient because it's easy access to Yaumatei MTR station and Nathan Road.
Cleanliness was not up to standard due to old carpets in room caused bad smell once entering the room. Had reported to staff on day one when checked in, but nothing could be done due to other rooms also had the same situations.
Some of the counter staff were quite helpful, waiters working in Canteen were nice to clients. Highly recommended menu of breakfast could be revised every week, because long time staying clients would feel boring about the choices. House keeping staff were helpful too!
Strongly unsatisfied with the laundry machine on 18/F, due to totally three dryers were not well performed, clothes were still wet even though just put small portion of clothes.
After complained to front desk staff, nothing could be improved, they just gave a token to client to dry the clothes again! To waste another 40 minutes for drying again!
GGuest UserNice and clean. Comfortable beds and great breakfast choice. The thing they need to change is the opening times for breakfast. 7am seems late for an airport hotel. We had to quickly eat breakfast in about 20 minutes to get the shuttle. In the U.K., airport hotels start breakfast at 5.30am. Great free shuttle to the airport.
CCatThe room is being book for my parents and my helper for a short stay ,they like it ,but saying that the break is not good ,other than that water strength in shower is good ,as last time when I stay on 12th floor,is real bad ,so they r happy ,then I an happy ,even only on 5th floor still hv a good view n not noisy , excellent
CCHUN YEONGI have stayed in this hotel many times. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station.Room is large, comfortable and has great view. Shower extremely hot if needed. House-keeping, front desk and cafe staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Everything is fine except the following:
1. Facilities and overall decoration are a bit old. Probably time for renovation;
2. Wifi is unstable and very often weak. I need to buy a Sim card to get internet service. This definitely needs upgrading asap.
Other than that the hotel is highly recommended.
AAnonymous UserGood size room for Hong Kong standards, free shuttle bus to shopping centre and MTR station. It’s about 7 minutes walk from Tai Wo Hau station just walk across footbridge and turn left, walk about 7mins. Breakfast was Ok.
FFelipe KondoService is great, check-in is smooth (either passport copy or 500HKD deposit), no lift available therefore be careful before booking if you have much luggage. Despite these small setbacks, service is super attentive and with great English, the room is super clean and offers a cozy and quiet retreat right in the middle of Wanchai. Much recommended for either long-stays or short-crash. Beware, like every HK room, it is small, but cleanliness and coziness are worth it.
PS: The table is too small for working so use a café in case a laptop is required.
GGuest UserLocation is very good. Check in and check out are very fast. Staff are very polite and helpful. Only thing is that no free drinking water and converter are available. But definitely recommended as the price is good and location is very near to the visa center.
RRonaldThe perfect place to relax before entering HK downtown, or after leaving it. It shows signs of the time passed but it is totally OK. Chinese or Western breakfast available. Smack on the beach with an outdoor ground terrace. Super quiet in the evening. It can be reached by bus from Tung Chung bus station or by ferry from HK. Nice walks are to be had too, to hill tops or beaches. HK airport is on the other side of the island, and you can take the Ngong Ping cable car to the big Buddha from Tung Chung. If I get back to HK I will relax in this hotel first.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit out of the way from main tourist area- Nathan Road. It is about 15 minutes from the nearest tube station. The east and south of hotel is surrounded by some small metal retails commerce and car repair shops. I didn't like the metal and repair smells. The west of the hotel is one block away from a shopping plaza and also a lovely park. My taxi driver didn't know the hotel location until I gave him the address. The hotel entry is not easily spotted. The hotel reception is on the third floor. It looks bigger in the picture than in reality. I booked the 2 nights stay as I thought it is in a new reclaimed land area. I thought the hotel is located in a residential area. Considering the hotel is only 2 years new, I would expect the lifts are in best condition.
I would appreciate the staff at the front of the desk with some smile. The lady in charge of the breakfast was lovely.
The rooms are small, but designed to maximize the space. They are clean and the shower is great.
