Service is good.
Booked 2 rooms with seaview.. but only see mountain.. maybe the sea refers to the swimming pool... And one of the room is not quite what we expected , very rundown and with only one plug head...the other double room was quite ok..
One bad thing about the hotel. NEVER Ever eat the buffet at the hotel restaurant.. worst ever..
Everything don't lol fresh and some dry or overcooked.. worst food I have had .. we tried only 1 round and wasted the food because it's really inedible.. AND...
We paid $1200++ for 4pax buffet with a 40% off promo.

The hotel is really impressive. It's quite far from the city center but if you plan to do some outlet shopping, this hotel is really good since it is directly connected to citygate outlet mall. However, there are not many food options in the area compared to other parts of HK, since it quite far from the city center. Service was excellent except for that one Filipina front desk employee who was not very welcoming to talk to. I'm Filipino so I talked to her hoping it would be easier to approach her but it seems she was not very warm to talk to, that time. There is no hair dryer in the room (by default), not sure if you can ask for it, but I did not try. The room was always very clean and the cleaning staff are very kind, they always greet me when I see them. The equipment engineers were also very kind, one time I asked for assistance on the room entertainment system. The breakfast was really good, it has a good amount of options but not that crazy special. Overall it was a good experience.

i like the use of disposable towels, hygienic.

The room was definitely on the smaller side, but it was well-organized and functional for a short stay. Despite the limited space, it had everything we needed - a comfortable bed, a compact but clean bathroom. It might feel a bit tight if you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the room, but for two people just looking for a place to sleep and freshen up, it worked perfectly. The efficient layout made the most of the available space, and we didn’t feel cramped. Overall, it was cozy and met our needs for a comfortable stay. The shuttle service is definitely a plus!

Nice big room with a bathtub, which is rare for Hong Kong.
Comfortable bed, and good view. Also has a cafe inside, which is quit good.
Not enough staff, especially at the check in desk, that was terrible.
Also when I ask them to help me to call a taxi, they send me to catch it by myself !!! What a nonsense 😠

Excellent Hotel! The room was very comfortable and quite spacious. Everything quite clean. The hotel staff was quite friendly. I think it needs a little maintenance, but overall it is very good. The metro/train station is very close. There are many local restaurants in the area where you can eat well. The price-quality ratio is very good. Recommended.

Excellent
JJanet ChuLocation of hotel was quite convenient because it's easy access to Yaumatei MTR station and Nathan Road.
Cleanliness was not up to standard due to old carpets in room caused bad smell once entering the room. Had reported to staff on day one when checked in, but nothing could be done due to other rooms also had the same situations.
Some of the counter staff were quite helpful, waiters working in Canteen were nice to clients. Highly recommended menu of breakfast could be revised every week, because long time staying clients would feel boring about the choices. House keeping staff were helpful too!
Strongly unsatisfied with the laundry machine on 18/F, due to totally three dryers were not well performed, clothes were still wet even though just put small portion of clothes.
After complained to front desk staff, nothing could be improved, they just gave a token to client to dry the clothes again! To waste another 40 minutes for drying again!
GGuest UserFairly good with the price. However, the room looks old and there are stains outside the window. The good thing is that there are versatile sockets provided so no need for special adapters.
CCatThe room is being book for my parents and my helper for a short stay ,they like it ,but saying that the break is not good ,other than that water strength in shower is good ,as last time when I stay on 12th floor,is real bad ,so they r happy ,then I an happy ,even only on 5th floor still hv a good view n not noisy , excellent
CCHUN YEONGI have stayed in this hotel many times. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station.Room is large, comfortable and has great view. Shower extremely hot if needed. House-keeping, front desk and cafe staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Everything is fine except the following:
1. Facilities and overall decoration are a bit old. Probably time for renovation;
2. Wifi is unstable and very often weak. I need to buy a Sim card to get internet service. This definitely needs upgrading asap.
Other than that the hotel is highly recommended.
AAnonymous UserGood size room for Hong Kong standards, free shuttle bus to shopping centre and MTR station. It’s about 7 minutes walk from Tai Wo Hau station just walk across footbridge and turn left, walk about 7mins. Breakfast was Ok.
FFelipe KondoService is great, check-in is smooth (either passport copy or 500HKD deposit), no lift available therefore be careful before booking if you have much luggage. Despite these small setbacks, service is super attentive and with great English, the room is super clean and offers a cozy and quiet retreat right in the middle of Wanchai. Much recommended for either long-stays or short-crash. Beware, like every HK room, it is small, but cleanliness and coziness are worth it.
PS: The table is too small for working so use a café in case a laptop is required.
GGuest UserLocation is very good. Check in and check out are very fast. Staff are very polite and helpful. Only thing is that no free drinking water and converter are available. But definitely recommended as the price is good and location is very near to the visa center.
RRonaldThe perfect place to relax before entering HK downtown, or after leaving it. It shows signs of the time passed but it is totally OK. Chinese or Western breakfast available. Smack on the beach with an outdoor ground terrace. Super quiet in the evening. It can be reached by bus from Tung Chung bus station or by ferry from HK. Nice walks are to be had too, to hill tops or beaches. HK airport is on the other side of the island, and you can take the Ngong Ping cable car to the big Buddha from Tung Chung. If I get back to HK I will relax in this hotel first.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit out of the way from main tourist area- Nathan Road. It is about 15 minutes from the nearest tube station. The east and south of hotel is surrounded by some small metal retails commerce and car repair shops. I didn't like the metal and repair smells. The west of the hotel is one block away from a shopping plaza and also a lovely park. My taxi driver didn't know the hotel location until I gave him the address. The hotel entry is not easily spotted. The hotel reception is on the third floor. It looks bigger in the picture than in reality. I booked the 2 nights stay as I thought it is in a new reclaimed land area. I thought the hotel is located in a residential area. Considering the hotel is only 2 years new, I would expect the lifts are in best condition.
I would appreciate the staff at the front of the desk with some smile. The lady in charge of the breakfast was lovely.
The rooms are small, but designed to maximize the space. They are clean and the shower is great.
KKrisOur recent stay at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui was a mixed experience, with both positive and negative aspects that shaped our overall impression.
Pros:
Convenient Location: The hostel is strategically located in a lively neighborhood, providing easy access to public transportation and local attractions.
Polite and Friendly Staff: The staff at The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui were consistently polite and friendly, contributing to a positive atmosphere during our stay.
Cons:
Noise and Capsule Size: Despite reminders to keep quiet, other guests in this capsule hotel often failed to follow the guidelines, leading to disturbances. The capsules are too small, and the thin mattresses made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. The lack of proper ventilation necessitated opening the capsule door for air conditioning, affecting overall comfort.
Unpleasant Odors: The pervasive smell of mothballs throughout the facility was overwhelming and contributed to headaches during our stay.
Capsule Movement Disturbances: Guests occupying the bottom capsule may experience sleep disruptions due to excessive movement from capsules above, highlighting a design flaw in the sleeping arrangements.
Small and Unsanitary Toilets: The restroom facilities were cramped, not sufficiently clean, and could benefit from improvement. While disposable towels and toothbrushes were provided, the overall cleanliness fell short of expectations.
Disposable Slippers: The disposable slippers provided were criticized for being too small and thin, prompting a preference for wearing socks in the supposedly quiet areas.
Cleanliness Concerns: While generally clean, the hostel could benefit from enhanced cleanliness standards to meet the expectations of discerning guests.
Value for Money:
Considering the price paid for our stay, The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui offered a value that was close to average. However, with several areas requiring improvement, the overall value could be significantly enhanced through better amenities and services.
Conclusion:
The Nap Tsim Sha Tsui provided a close-to-decent stay with room for improvement in various aspects. The convenient location and courteous staff were overshadowed by issues such as noise disturbances, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, unpleasant odors, and cleanliness concerns. With a commitment to addressing these shortcomings, this capsule hotel has the potential to offer a more satisfactory and better value-for-money experience in the future.
