Place is fine a motel clean

The room was moldy smelling. Although it looked clean the smell was horrible. I rented this room for my son and his family for Christmas Eve. They put up with the smell cause they were only going to be there to sleep. I have rented one of the rooms for them before. It was the 3 bedroom cabin. That was awesome. If we ever rent a room there again we will stick to that room.

Planned to check in after hours and received a text with welcome message and clear, easy instructions on how to access key. Room was spotless and smelled fresh. Love all the charging options (lots of plugs and USB ports). And I can’t help but think highly of a business that uses Ticonderoga #2 pencils. Always a plus.

Clean, comfortable and affordable!

We arrived before 3pm and our room was ready. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean we would definitely return to this cute place. It was centrally located to all our vacation spots.

This is a gem, with a fantastic convenient location and a relaxed vibe. A family-run place with friendly staff, just a quick drive from all the area has to offer. The rooms are quiet and the beds were super comfy. I got the best sleep every night! I would definitely stay here again.

Decided at midnight that I was going to surprise my kids and bring them to Sleeping Bear Dunes in the morning. Got online; not very many hotel options available so last-minute on a holiday weekend (Memorial). Stumbled upon the Honor Motel in my search, read the good reviews, and decided to go for it! This was my first time ever staying in a motel, and it was a great experience! I was only looking for a decent place to lay our heads at night, as we would be out exploring all day. This was exactly what I was looking for. The location and price of the Honor Motel are both really great, and it was super clean! My daughter inspected even the window sills and said, “mom, this place is better than regular hotels!” The woman at the front desk was very nice, and to my surprise, someone cleaned the room while we were out! There was a small fridge and a microwave in the room too, which came in handy. My kids are both under 12, for your reference, and both said they want to go back and stay here again :)
