My room was very clean, and had three chairs. I can never understand a room with only 1 chair. This time, when I was traveling alone, I had 3. But it was nice. Also, the old fashioned dresser with drawers, not the metal slats that everything falls through. The bed was comfortable. The only thing missing was an alarm clock. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I like to know what time it is. Breakfast was very good. Nice selections- like the whole grain or whole wheat bread. Much better than the normal breads you usually find. Also had sugar free syrup, which you don't usually see out. And the coffee has much improved. I used to take mine any time I went on vacation because I found Hampton's too strong. But now they have a light roast and it was delicious. When I checked out, I asked the woman at the desk if she had any of the little packets of Hampton mints. They're nice to have in the car. She didn't seem to know what I was talking about but said she had cookies. Did I get a bottle of water and cookies when I checked in? I told her no, I hadn't. I had thought it odd that I wasn't offered at least water, as we're Hilton Honors and Elite, but the woman who checked me in didn't seem to be too interested in what she was doing. When I checked out, the woman gave me the cookies and a bottle of water. She was very pleasant and friendly.
Excellent
