Het hotel is rustig gelegen met voldoende parkeerruimte in de buurt. Goede startplaats om te wandelen. Heel vriendelijk onthaal (in het Nederlands). Ruime kamer, wel wat gedateerd, maar het hotel wordt volledig gerenoveerd. Heerlijke bedden met een extra hoofdkussen in de kast. Ruim voldoende zachte handdoeken. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt met heerlijke koffie. De eerste avond zijn we blijven eten. Niet echt hoogstaand en er ontbraken wel een aantal belangrijke punten. Geen brood bij een gerecht dat toch wel wat brood vroeg. Bij kaasplank zelf nog bestek moeten vragen, bestelde wijn vergeten en ook moeten vragen. Jong equipe, maar wel super vriendelijk

Very charming hotel near the Ourthe, ideally located for beautiful walks in the vicinity. Sufficient parking in front of the hotel, which is also free. A warm welcome and an extremely flexible team. The bar is in Ardennes style that exudes coziness and immediately makes you feel at home. Very pleasant and professional service. You are very pampered. As for dinner, we decided to eat a la carte, although I must admit that the menus looked tasty too. We didn't have to wait long for the food and ended the dinner with a delicious sabayon based on Cherry Chouffe. The breakfast is very extensive, we had breakfast late, but there was still plenty of choice. As for the rooms, they are comfortable, quiet and spacious, with good beds. The bathroom is very spacious, we had the room with a bubble bath which we enjoyed. A good price in relation to the hotel facilities. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Charming hotel well located in the heart of the village tastefully decorated offering a bar and a cozy restaurant. Free parking reserved for hotel guests right next door. Very varied and copious breakfast in buffet style. Wellness area open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to customers with free access with jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and shower. The hammam is unfortunately out of service. Very pleasant staff, except at reception whose only concern is to check that you have paid for everything… We had booked a comfort room, impeccably clean and very comfortable bedding. However, we are VERY DISAPPOINTED. The furniture is very old. Rooms very poorly insulated, you can hear the neighbor next door snoring, the hotel's linen delivery in the street very early in the morning with metal trolleys rattling etc… Very strong smell of sewage in the bathroom which is also felt in the room, the hair dryer does not work, the toilet paper dispenser broken. I had a pleasant stay at the Hôtel du Commerce. The place lends itself to relaxation and conviviality. There's nothing like settling into the common room, the heart of this hotel, after a day of walking to enjoy a café chouffe and reconnect with your friends. There is a warm and family a**osphere there. I had the opportunity to taste some dishes from the new menu and it was a delight. I recommend the cheese croquettes and the fish waterzooi! The little extras of this place: the outdoor bar along the Ourthe and the very easy parking (no complicated maneuvers at the appoin**ent)

This time we went for a standard room, I will never ever set foot in that hotel again. They don't make them any more unpleasant. I stepped back into the 80's... the bathroom was even worse!!! Tiles loose, shower rod almost hanging off the wall... small stream of water. A disgrace!!! We had to get clean towels ourselves because they had not cleaned the room after the first night, beds had not been made, in short, nothing had happened. When I asked for an explanation, the answer was that there was only one cleaning lady for 34 rooms. One piece of advice, stay away from hotel commerce. By the way, this room also cost €150 per night!

To change our daily lives we wanted to go to the famous region of Houffalize through Weekendesk. The bathtub was very small compared to the size of the bathroom, it was impossible to take a bath for two, the room is tiled. the carpet would have been warmer. When we opened the bedroom door we had difficulty putting our suitcases down because it was so cold. We are in Wallonia and most of the television channels are in Flemish? The three-course dinner did not live up to our expectations and what was sold to us in the reservation. Dishes not very clean. Very long wait to bring us the drink menu and an hour between the starter and the main course. The cup of cava on arrival was forgotten. Mandatory menu, I was able to change the starter because I didn't like it with a supplement for two industrial cheese croquettes. We arrived the evening before, unable to enjoy the spa because the spa closed at 7 p.m. and the next day opened at 4 p.m. We would have loved to change destination so much we won't be coming back!!
