When we checked in the receptionist was very rude, detached, irritable and even confrontational. We had come a long way with an infant and just needed some answers to their cable TV since we came to view a NFL playoff game and couldn’t find it on their channels. We ended up leaving the hotel and stopping at a sports bar and asking our question. All service was average at best. Just seemed like the employees hated to be there.

Great location on the shore of Houghton Lake. Clean room with a comfortable bed. Microwave and large refrigerator included. Hot tub - warm and clean. Several machines in the 24 hour fitness center. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Sofia friendly and efficient with checkin. Provided great location information. Would stay here again.

I loved this hotel. The room and the pool were very nice but what made this place one of my very best hotel experiences was the kindness and effort by all employees from the front desk to housekeepers to maintenance to accommodate my large family and to help make our reunion wonderful. My daughter, who has traveled quite a bit, also said it was the best hotel she has stayed in. The accommodations are very comfortable and the staff are uniformly willing to go out of their way to be helpful. Thank you all!
