Staybridge Suites Houston IAH - Beltway 8

I stayed at Staybridge Suites, 1910 North Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston, TX from May 16–18, 2025, and it was an awful experience. I arrived late on Friday night and was initially given Room 209, which smelled musty and had torn carpeting. I requested to be moved and was given Room 425—unfortunately, things only got worse. The room had a roach problem (yes, roaches on the walls, kitchen counter, and bathroom floor), and the air conditioning was completely broken, leaving the room unbearably hot. To make matters worse, brown water came out of the bathroom faucet, which is completely unacceptable. When I reported all these issues to the front desk staff (who were very polite and tried to help), I was told that management was aware of similar complaints but there were no other rooms available. Maintenance was not available until the next day, and no action was taken during my entire stay. I was provided a small fan for the second night, which was hardly sufficient. Despite repeated complaints to the front desk, I never received any follow-up or apology from the property manager, nor was I offered any compensation for the terrible conditions. I paid $216 for this stay, and it was absolutely not worth it. I’ve stayed at other Staybridge locations and had good experiences, but this property was a nightmare. Roaches, broken A/C, brown water, and no managerial accountability. Until major improvements are made here, I would highly recommend staying elsewhere!

Shuttle services are not available. Overnight staff sleeping so soundly that I was unable to wake him up even when banging on the desk. Had to leave my key card on the desk.

The hotel is very close to the airport but there is no shuttle which was stated on *******. My room was an efficiency which was nice and they have snacks in the evening Monday - Wednesday.
