Ramada by Wyndham Houston InterContinental Airport East

I recently stayed at this hotel and while it had some redeeming qualities, my overall experience left a lot to be desired. Here's a breakdown of my stay: Pros 1. **Affordable Price**: The room rates were budget-friendly, making it suitable for travelers looking for a cost-effective option. 2. **Staff**: The staff was polite and tried to be helpful, though they seemed understaffed at times. Cons 1. **Amenities**: Basic amenities like toiletries, fresh towels, and a working air conditioner felt subpar. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. 2. **Noise**: The walls were thin, and I could easily hear people talking and walking in the hallways, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Overall Experience: It might be a decent option for someone on a tight budget and just to stay for one night, but I would recommend spending a little more to stay somewhere with better facilities.

The worst stay I've had in a hotel for years. It's started in the evening with the night manager not greeting me and just working in the back when I'm trying to check in. I reminded her I was waiting after 10 minutes and got the response she was busy. No one else there. Took 20 min to get my key. Open the door to my room with a dying cockroach right there. Went back to get my room replaced. Another wait, asked for a higher floor to get away from  what happened and she put me 3 doors down. The service is terrible here. Spend a bit more and buy some respect from another hotel in the area. This place looks and feels like a dump.

Less than 5 minutes ride from the airport, the hotel is an ideal place for an overnight stay while waiting for your connecting flight if you arrive late and your next flight won't be until the next morning. All the amenities you want are there, plus wake up call and free shuttle bus to the airport. Highly recommended.

The check in desk group were not friendly or helpful. I had an issue with a missing wallet which was pretty stressful. I became invisible with no ID. Once I did locate my wallet there wasn’t much improvement with service. At check out the morning crew was preoccupied which I did understand but no acknowledgement  or polite “be right with you.” Little bit of kindness goes along way for travelers.

Enjoyed the short stay here, services received was excellent.  I loved that it was conveniently located near the airport and there was shuttle to  transport to and from hotel, which made it extra convenient and they were on time, once reservations were made.  We were pleasantly impressed.
