Marriott Marquis Houston

The service was good just the valt parking service, they take 1 hour to give me my car. I almost lost my doctor appointment for that.

I had an enjoyable, fun, relaxing, and friendly stay at the beautiful Houston Marriott Marquis Hotel from November 16 to 19, 2025. I came to the hotel following a week-long cruise and paid for my stay with personal out-of-pocket funds. Karen, an amicable front desk clerk who did both the check-in and check-out process for me, showed great initiative. When I checked out, she asked how I liked my stay, a question I always appreciate the staff posing to me. I had a beautiful, comfortable room with a comfortable bed, a great TV system with lots of channel selections, including Showtime and YouTube, and a great view over the gorgeous pool area, a nearby park, and beautiful apartment buildings. Housekeeping did a superb and timely job in cleaning my room every day. I value daily housekeeping service. I had delicious food and friendly service from the staff in the club room. The large, beautiful lobby, and especially the large swimming pool area – decked out at this time of the year with Christmas decorations – enhanced my experience. The lazy river pool shaped in the form of Texas boundaries uniquely sets this hotel apart. What a gem in this Marriott property! I love it!

I had an incredible stay at the Marriott Marquis Houston! From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Karen at the front desk did an outstanding job checking us in and took the time to explain everything about the hotel — she truly set the tone for a great visit. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. After staying for six nights, I was so impressed by how consistently the team went above and beyond — even offering me a bottle of water each evening when I returned to the hotel. My room was spotless and perfectly maintained throughout my stay. The amenities are fantastic — I loved the pool, the lazy river, and especially the spa. I treated myself to an 80-minute massage, which was the perfect way to unwind after a busy week at a conference. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

I e stayed in this hotel a number of times for business and it’s always clean, comfortable and well appointed. On this particular trip, I overlapped with housekeeping, who took the time to introduce herself and ask if there was anything I needed. This particular attention to detail and ensuring I was well supplied with coffees and water was much appreciated. Thank you Delsa!

I stay at the Marquis Houston Marriott as it is approved by my company so it is not the most luxurious but when you have status, they take care of you. My stay at the Marquis Houston Marriott is always absolutely wonderful! The highlight of the property is the incredible rooftop pool shaped like the state of Texas—it’s such a unique and fun feature, perfect for relaxing and taking in the views of downtown Houston. The jacuzzi is wonderful as well. I have visited during the summer which was lovely and when I visit during the Christmas season, the holiday decorations throughout the hotel are stunning. The festive atmosphere makes everything feel warm and inviting, and it truly adds to the magic of my stay. The staff is always attentive and welcoming, and the overall experience top-notch. If you’re visiting Houston, I highly recommend staying here—especially during the holidays for the beautiful décor and the one-of-a-kind Texas-shaped pool!
