Travelodge by Wyndham Houston Hobby Airport

1)Room had bad smoking smells and ordors even it in the Non-smoking area. 2) Shower curtain with some molds stayed at the bottom of shower curtain. 3) Old carpet floor with a few ripped spots in carpet floor areas. 4) Smoke detector in the room ceiling kept making annoying noises with low battery inside it. 5) Hardly to contact the hotel receptionist from the room.

It was quite interesting

Run down and dirty. A lot of sketchy people around the vicinity.

Checking in took longer than expected as the front desk didn’t like me using a passport as ID. Room was clean however the carpet had stains, the AC didn’t work (but the fan option did), fridge didn’t work, front door didn’t close all the way and the pillows were way too soft. The bathroom was the real let down however. As seen in the photos, the towels were stained, floor tiles were cracked and the shower head was caked in lime scale. The bathroom was stocked with half bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We went out in the evening and left the do not disturb sign on the door, although the cleaners came in and changed our towels anyway which we didn’t like at all.
