Ett gammalt hotell som behövs uppgraderas.
Regntätt och varmvatten är det som ger pluss, annars ska det klassas som motell.

Veldig god service ,god middag og frokost ! Kan ikke finne noen steder det stå skrevet at hotellet er totalt uten alkohol servering. Vi liker å nyte vin til maten og ble nokså overrasket!Anbefaler derfor ikke dette hotellet som ferialternativ, umiddelbart til venner. PS blåbærcideren var nydelig

Min kone og jeg hadde et snaut døgn på hotellet, og fikk god kontakt med bestyrer. Etter hva jeg oppfattet var det stort sett bare han og hans kone som drev hotellet, som bestyrere. De lagde mat, ryddet rommene og reparerte det det var penger til å reparere. Det er mye som står igjen å fikse på, men det krever stor innsats fra eierne, hvem nå de er. Ved avreise fra hotellet fikk min kone og jeg med oss hver vår nydelige nistepakke, med 3 fine smørbrød, frukt og yoghurt. De var nesten verdt hele oppholdet.

Ingen i resepsjonen ved ankomst, ventet lenge. Ikke info på ********** om kristen sekt preger hotellet. Rommet og badet skittent. Dårlig lukt i rommet.Manglet1 dyne, håndklær,tannglass og toalettpapir. Måtte legge dynetrekk på selv. I følge ********* har hotellet restaurant noe det ikke er, bare spisesal. Maur og sjeggkre i spisesal.

This is a rather rustic retreat center, up on a pass on the road between Oslo and Flam. We chose it because it is within range of catching the first ferry in Flam, and it worked quite well for that. The breakfast was solid. The people running the establishment are very nice, and offered some waffles as there was no where nearby to catch dinner at the time of night we got it. Nice drive to and from the location.

På denne fjellheimen får du koselig og personlig service. I tillegg fikk vi kongelig frokost med alt vi kunne ønske oss av pålegg, røkelaks, yoghurt, et utvalg av juice, egg, kaffe og te. Til den prisen vi betalte var dette rett og slett imponerende! Rommet var enkelt, men stort bad med badekar, gode Jensen madrasser, og litt utsikt mot fjellet. Veldig stille og rolig. Fin overnatting over fjellet mot Bergen.
