It’s my 4th time staying here and all the staff are accommodating every time. They always grant my requests. I specifically look forward to and enjoy their free buffet breakfast because everything is so yummy and fresh.

Great location. V good breakfast. Good room size. Only problem broken lock on window, no fresh air vent when sleeping. Also no way out in emergency as window does not open ....needs fixing ASAP.

Booking cancelled without informing us because the hotel has been taken over as a hostel! We often used to stay here when visiting family in the area....spoilt 70th birthday plans...only found booking cancelled when informed by family that hotel appeared close.Terrible customer service and such a shame as it used to be a great place to stay.

3 times now the hotel bookings have been cancelled at this hotel. The first time there was no warning. Only found out when phoned for a room request. The last two were for next year. I received emails that look like scam emails. The hotel bookings are still showing in my holiday Inn account. I contacted the hotel for compensation and explanation but the manager Craig couldn't even get my name right and wasn't helpful. Now I have to pay a lot more to go somewhere else. I booked the advanced rate so I can't cancel but they can cancel even throughout your stay. I'm concerned about my other booking else where as its a very long way to travel. I will avoid holiday Inn and do not recommend them because your booking is not guaranteed.

Something bizarre about this place. Tried booking last Xmas always full. Does not stack up. Nobody answered phone, drove around there to be told we are not open for business. We had family coming and needed them to stay local.

I had an family funeral booked and paid for, in 10 days time, the hotel was sold without any warning. I only found out via social media. when I found that all the present customers had their bags packed and left in Reception without any prior warning. Holiday Inn as a company your customer service STINKS

Went out to charge my electric car came back in and had two aian security guards jump in .y way and tell me I'm not allowed in and wen asked why I was rudely told because they say so wen I asked another m3mber off reception staff was told that I'd be allowed today but after today it's private even doe there's a public charge point avoiding this place would be the beat move you.made toady

This hotel is fantastic, pet friendly and the staff are amazing. Breakfast is a buffet but it is very good buffet with quality products and the staff are super friendly The only downside is when I got a drink from the bar a large glass of red wine was £12.50 which I thought was a very expensive, even the staff queried it being right. The hotel does not do food but there is a pub over the road which does excellent food and a big menu, top food
