The hotel has a beautiful view during the day of the mountains and the pool facilities were nice and seemed clean to me. The hotel is definitely old but overall it was a nice stay for me!

The staff here are incredibly rude, from the front desk to housekeeping. It was a nightmare. I came back from swimming at 4:30 PM, and there was no hot water – it was a complete breakdown. The soundproofing is terrible; I kept having nightmares sleeping in this room, and the mirror was directly facing the bed. Seriously, avoid this place! The duvet and pillows are all pilled. Plus, a staff member just walked into my room without knocking while I was changing, which was a huge shock! This place is genuinely awful.

Location is excellent for Market Village, soi 88 & soi 94, the beach and the town. Friendly staff, room was spotless. Swimming pool is fabulous with plenty of sun beds. No hesitation in recommending The Grand hotel.

This hotel is quite good. Although it's a bit old, it still retains the feel of a former grand star-rated hotel. The hygiene is excellent and it's very clean. The room is also very spacious. I booked a standard room but was surprisingly given a sea-view room. It's within walking distance of the shopping center, though the surroundings are a bit desolate. After all, Hua Hin is a quiet little town. Overall, it's very good, and I would stay here again.

Great old hotel. Seen better days but in a great location for the train station and beach, shopping and night out.
Nice swimming pool and breakfast was pretty good too. If furniture was better and windows weren't rattling I would give it 5 stars but it's 3+ for me and I would definitely stay there again.

About 10 mins walk to train station which is good as most of the sleeper trains to bangkok leaves in the wee hours of the morning where taxi is not available. Nice view of the sea from hotel rooms and lift with glass windows. There are restaurants and Top department store and 7 eleven within 5 mins walk. Rooms are dated and quite dark but spacious.
