Baan Talay Chine Boutique Resort

This is small boutique Resort just 2 min from the beach. The rooms are spacious, functional and clean. The breakfast served to the room is decent. The staff is service oriented and obliging, recommended!

At a very quiet dead-end of the road, we found ourselves not believing how far in the place was from the main road. Nevertheless it provides us the peace and tranquility compared to most if not all the hotels we’ve been to. We booked a one-room unit with a private pool which was really the main attraction of the whole package. The room design as the name of the place suggested, it’s of Chinese origin. It’s a stone throw to the beach but it’s just a patch of sand. If you need a bite and don’t want to eat in the house, I think it’ll be about 10-15 mins walk and the convenience store 15-20 mins. You can also stuff from Grab if I heard the staff correctly. We chose to take Grab to the malls and came back fully loaded as we planned to cook dinner at the kitchenette provided. The staff is very helpful and even helped me to order flowers for my partner’s birthday. A complimentary cake was also provided for the occasion. Communication with the hotel was prompt prior to my flight into the country and I appreciated The assistance provided. The staff is also very attentive when on the second day when they saw the figure float was deflated, they quickly changed to a working one. If there’s any shortcomings, it’ll be that there’s a smell that seems to coming from the drainage of the bathroom and we had to make sure we closed the door every time we left the bathroom. Overall it’s a rather good place to escape from the maddening pace of the working world and just to relax on the deck chair or the pool.
