The Hyatt itself was quite ordinary, but The Barai was truly exceptional. The Barai is a hotel within a hotel, embodying Cambodian serenity with its vibrant architecture. The suites are premium, spacious, and comfortable, and the spa is wonderfully relaxing. This hotel feels on par with the Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Krabi, or perhaps even a more affordable option, given that both are works by Thailand's national treasure architect, Lek Bunnag.

Fantastic Family Stay at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin
We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Hua Hin with our family and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The resort is in a great location, just a short distance from the night markets, which made evening outings very convenient and enjoyable.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality we received was exceptional. Every member of staff — from the front desk and restaurant servers to the pool attendants, kids’ club team, housekeepers, security, and the staff at the poolside restaurant — went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Their friendly and attentive service truly made a difference in our stay.
The resort offers a wide range of activities for guests of all ages, which kept everyone in the family entertained. Whether it was relaxing by the pool, exploring the beautiful grounds, or participating in family-friendly events, there was always something to do.
We would highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. It’s the perfect destination for families, couples, or anyone wanting a peaceful retreat with excellent service.

Absolutely stunning grounds here along with the pool and beach. Rooms are nice however the AC feels like it just cools the air and never removes humidity so it's a damp cold. That's my only complaint was the damp cold room. Other than that hotel is impressive. Its about a 10min walk to a store for snacks. Pool water was cold, on the edge of being too cold. Lots of people. Staff and security were good. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful service and facilities as usual. However, I booked the pet friendly room and found the floor wasnt properly cleaned. I wiped the floor with a wet tissue and it was filled with black dust.

This is a great hotel set across vast grounds with lush gardens and stunning pool area facing the beach. It is unfortunate that this level of standard does not extend to the accommodation part of the stay. The rooms are overly basic, tired and in need of renovation. The ladies toilets at the back of the pool bar are not only run down, but also suffer from a strong sewage smell. It's clear there is a drainage problem there. I have to say, we travelled across 3 countries and 5 destinations, yet those were the worst toilets on this trip, even worse than public lavatories at service stations on the side of a motorway. I expected more of Hyatt.

Nescafe instant coffee was not acceptable at rooms - need to offer a proper capsule machine
Takiab beach is not as attractive as Hua Hin beach

A very nice property that offers all we need when in Hua Hin, very good pools with slides that the little one in our family would not want to stop playing in the pool. Nice beachfront areas. Very easy to access to 2 famous night markets on the weekends. Decent food with good service at the hotel s restaurant.
