Very pretty hotel that looks like an old museum. Located within a small alley way along Tunxi Old Street, the rooms are old fashioned style but very clean. Service is excellent and personal. Would definitely love to return and spend more time just chilling in the hotel, drinking tea and idling.

The house is very artistic and has the style of an authentic old house, which is suitable for taking pictures😁. The sound insulation is relatively poor, which makes it difficult for light sleepers. The infrastructure really needs to be improved, otherwise I would be sorry for the price. For example, there are no labels on the shampoo and shower gel, so you have to guess by yourself (¯―¯٥).

Loved this historic inn near the old town of Tunxi. Period construction of wood, moldings and period appropriate furniture and furnishings. Hidden down some alleyways, it is a little tricky to find. The host was friendly and efficient at check in, referring us to a local restaurant for dinner. Walls and thin and floors creaky, you'll feel the outside temperature; but each room equipped with its own heating unit. Overall a lovely historic, romantic little inn. Recommend.
