Guangmingding Hotel

Great location! The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. They even prepared a shoe dryer and turned on the heater to dry our clothes. They also provided down jackets and promptly informed us about the best times to see the sea of clouds, as well as the sunrise and sunset, helping us capture every beautiful moment!

Didn't expect to find such a high-standard hotel during the off-peak season in Huangshan. The facilities, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable, and the environment truly stood out. Hu Shan was incredibly genuine with us, promptly sending staff to deliver anything we needed. She also thoughtfully provided local weather forecasts several times a day, advising us on whether it was suitable for sunrise or sunset viewing, and if it was good for stargazing late at night. This hotel is truly the best for watching sunrise, sunset, and stargazing in Huangshan.

Even though the room has an older decor, the heater kept it very warm and there was plenty of hot water, which was great! The service was excellent, especially considering the inconvenient conditions. I'd definitely come back here if I get the chance, it's super convenient for watching the sunrise – right outside the door! Plus, the hotel has a professional photographer who takes pictures of the sunrise and sunset and shares them with guests. That's a really thoughtful service!

The Bright Summit Hotel boasts an unparalleled location for experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Mount Huangshan, especially for catching its sunrise and sunset. Everywhere you look from Bright Summit, there's a stunning view – it truly feels like you're looking down upon all the other mountains! And once you're at Bright Summit, everything feels bright and clear! The hotel service is excellent, very thoughtful and attentive, and the breakfast is pretty good too!

The room was clean and tidy, not as damp as I expected. Even though it had no window, I was relatively satisfied. Although it rained in the morning, the rain stopped when I left the hotel, and I saw a sea of clouds. What a pleasant surprise!

The price was quite high, and the room facilities were a bit old, with simple dining options. However, seeing the porters drenched in sweat and panting heavily, it all became understandable. The hotel boasts an excellent location, especially for watching the sunrise – there's nowhere better in the entire Huangshan area. My parents were particularly happy, and that's what truly matters. Overall, the service was decent. A young woman named Hu Shan was very enthusiastic, offering timely and comprehensive reminders that put us at ease.

Guangmingding Mountain Villa has an excellent location. You can watch the sunset, stargaze, and enjoy the sunrise right outside your door, saving you the hassle of traveling. Hu Shan at the front desk was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room type. She also kindly reminded us when to watch the stars and sunrise.

I brought my parents to climb Huangshan, and since their stamina isn't the best, we decided to stay on the mountain top to catch the sunrise – and Guangmingding Hotel is right next to the meteorological station. The facilities inside the hotel are a bit dated, but everything else is complete and quite clean, except for the lack of air conditioning. Ms. Hu Shan, who was in charge of our section, was very enthusiastic. She reminded us of the sunrise and sunset times and viewing spots, shared photos, and even thoughtfully prepared mineral water for us when we checked out. Although we didn't see the sunset or a classic sunrise, we did get a lovely surprise seeing the full moon on the sixteenth day of the ***** calendar. The only minor downside was that it was a bit noisy in the morning, making it hard to get back to sleep for a bit, haha.

The service was excellent, especially from Hu Shan. She was warm, meticulous, and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. The location is superb, making it the top choice for anyone wanting to see the sunrise in Huangshan.
