Hotels near Jade Valley (Southeast Gate) in Huangshan

The hotel had a great location close to some of the most famous peaks. We stayed for a night to be able to see the sunset and sunrise and all was arranged in order to allow it in the most comfortable and convenient way, from tours planned to down jackets in the room free for use. We were upgraded during check-in for a better room and used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. On top of that we also found a voucher for the spa in the room ☺️

Conveniently located and within walking distance to the Huangshan North Train Station and Huangshan Passenger Bus Terminal. Hence, it is a good base to leave the luggages for a (backpacked) trip to Huangshan Mountain (Danxia Peak) and Hongcun Ancient Village (Moon Fen). It is also convenient to take Bus number 21 at the bus stop outside the Railway Station to Tunxi Old Street (about 30mins for CNY2). Good selection and nice buffet breakfast (mainly Chinese crusine).

Fantastic little little hotel with great service If you are looking for a genuine historical and unique hotel experience with super service — then this is the place for you. If you like hyper modern and fancy hotels with glass and concrete, stay away. Yujian No8 has a great location I’m Tunxi (Huangshan old city). Location is rated good because of it depends where you are going. If you want to visit the old city this is perfect. It is a little difficult to find the hotel if you are on your own, but we were met by hotel staff who helped with suitcases and directions. You can not drive in Tunxi old city so there are a few hundred meters to walk. There is a direct bus line from Huangshanbei railway station or you can easily use taxi. The location is very quiet and it feels like you are experiencing a jump in time. The staff is great. They do speak little English, but it’s easy to use translator apps on your phone/ if you have WeChat they also have their own account where it’s easy to communicate. The staff provided very useful information about the area and were very helpful, nice, friendly and professional. The hotel has spacious rooms and lovely public area. This is a very unique traditional hotel, with classic decor and design. The room was very clean with nice amenities. Even if the hotel is displaying historical design, it has modern and nice stuff in the rooms. Our room has bathtub and shower and also a small lounge. Very enjoyable. The overall experience with a super location for exploring the old city made this one of our most memorable stays. We can highly recommend Yujian No 8!

I absolutely loved loved loved my trip here! I booked it as a birthday trip for my boyfriend and let me tell you they really went above and beyond to make sure everything was organized and we were happy. I was sent the menu beforehand so I could order dinner ahead of time, they took my cake delivery and got it ready to serve, took my special food order requests, set up a private area for dinner for us... And the room was beautiful. Very cozy and I loved the tub! I took 2 baths. They were totally kind and courteous and quick to answer questions and they were very welcoming to me.

Very pleasantly surprised hotel, came to Taiping Lake for a circle, and finally chose this store. I liked it from the outside. There was a dragon at the door. The staff was very enthusiastic. The security brother at the door enthusiastically directed us to stop to help with the luggage. Even someone helped to open the door. The front desk lady was very big. It was also pouring tea and sending tickets. It felt like walking relatives. The room is also very good, the automation is excellent, the drinks are free, I love the hair dryer of this store too much, and I also consulted the brand. Breakfast buffet, fell in love with the dried plum cake for breakfast, the young lady in the restaurant saw that we liked to eat, and gave us a little before leaving. An unforgettable experience of staying in the store, it can be said that compared to other Huazhu stores, the service of this store makes me love it too much and highly recommended. The whole house is smart, the room is large, and there is a bathtub. It’s less than 100 meters walk from the entrance of the South Gate Scenic Area. You don’t have to get up early. You can have a leisurely breakfast and walk into the mountain. When you come back from the mountain, you can take a bath. Your legs won’t hurt the next day. The boss was very nice. It rained on the day we arrived and he even drove to Tangkou Station to pick us up. Takeaways arrive quickly, there is also a supermarket on the first floor, and the restaurant next to it is also very delicious.

The store called in advance to communicate and knew that I would get off at the high-speed rail station. They told me the transportation route in detail. I took bus 21 to the eye hospital, and sure enough, I could see it when I got off the bus. The layout of the public area is very unique. The facilities in the room are complete and clean. The service is also very good. Any problems will be solved immediately. The soundproofing of the room is a bit poor. The window faces the community. It is quite quiet at night. There was an argument in the morning and I could hear it clearly. Although I couldn't understand it, the decibels were quite high.

Waking up to the awe-inspiring views of lush forests and majestic peaks was a truly unforgettable experience. Exploring the nearby trails and enjoying the fresh mountain air served as the perfect tonic for the soul. However, my only disappointment was with the dining options at the hotel. While the food provided within the hotel was of decent quality and showcased local cuisine, it would have been nice to have some alternative dining choices nearby. As the hotel was the only dining option in the immediate vicinity, it limited the opportunities to explore the local food scene.

Highly recommended! We checked into this store on Tunxi Old Street after climbing Huangshan Mountain. First of all, the store is brand new. It is very conspicuous and easy to find. After entering the gate, you still have to walk a short distance to the lobby, but I was pleasantly surprised that it has a rain-proof design and a large slope for easy pulling of suitcases. This detail is very impressive. It is also something that many similar hotels don’t have. Then there is the lobby, which is clean and bright. The self-service check-in machine can visually see the distribution of hotel rooms and then select available rooms. We didn't want to walk around with our luggage, so we chose a room close to the elevator. In particular, I would like to mention that the lady at the front desk is very gentle and patient. Then the room was very clean, with all floors, no carpets, and no strange smell. This room is the most satisfactory hotel room design in our Jiangxi and Anhui travel route. The toilet and bathroom sinks are large enough and well laid out. There is also a carefully arranged small table for making tea and drinking tea. Tea sets and tea leaves are all prepared. Because we were in a hurry, we didn't have time to eat breakfast. There is also a breakfast shop next to the hotel which is good. One more thing, because I was short of water while climbing Huangshan Mountain, I asked the hotel for water, and found that there were six bottles of pure water in the room! Thumbs up! All in all, it is a very surprising hotel and the price is super cost-effective! A heartfelt recommendation from a guest.
